I want the necromancer Gaider as a protagonist in DA3. This evil being responsible for reanimating DAO corpses for his evil purposes in DA2 causing a war that is destroying societies and killing people in Thedas. In league with the demon Justice/Vengance, he reanimated the annoying (in my opinion) Anders making him into an arch villian responsible for death and destruction on a grand scale.
He reanimates the Chantry fanatic killed by my Dalish elf warden who hated the evil Chantry and all it stood for when he desecrated the ashes.
He reanimated the assasin I killed for attempting to kill me.
So this necromancer, responsible for so much evil. must be dealt with before the wounds of Thedas can be healed by our heroes. We need a world were death is certain and not subject to the whims of an evil mage. It could involve the quest to find the "Arrow of Necromancer Slaying" as the only means of permanently killing him.( ussel Kirkpatrick could be consulted). I will leave it to the modern day chroniclers of the Dragon Age to develop my idea.

This would actually make an epic plot (I'm serious), a gang of heroes join together to free Thedas from the clutches of The Necromancer - Gaider and have to collect ancient artifacts to do so. All in this journey - Necro Gaider sends out his dark minions in an attempt to stop you and your gang. He's the true evil behind every evil event in Thedas - the darkspawn, anders, sandal...he's behind them all and even more ancient than Flemeth (who helps you stop him and then draws his power for herself becoming the antagonist of DA4 - keeping our hero as a hostage - Warden and Hawke join forces and free the DA3 hero and then they form a trinity and attempt to take down Flemeth who summons all the Old Gods, the trinity flees seeking the help of one more hero and thus DA5 begins).
In DA5, one of the heroes could become the new necromancer or they could destroy the power forever leading to the age of The Maker's return.

I honestly want to see both our imported Warden-Commander and Hawke in the next DA. Either as allies, enemies, or a two sides of one coin-esque thing

DA3 has to be a Showdown with Flemoth and Morrigan.
I mean come on the Baby you had with her....Its a Born Warden with the Soul of an Old God and the teachings of Flemoth from Morrigan....You know Flemoth wants that kids Body!

I don't really understand the people who want the old protagonist back in a signifigant non-protagonist role. Only a little less than the people that keeping saying "Warden Protagonist" for DA3 when it is long confirmed that each Dragon Age game will have it's own protagonist.
