Interesting idea. Because yeah that is definitely a Batarian face, but it is WAY too big.

Its a Batarian, eye placement is similar, has the same top of head ridge things, and the nose even looks similar

I really hope that is a design that doesn't make it to the game.. or feature too heavily. I want there to be different species' husks.. but keep them to the same size or have a scion-esque bundle

I'd say it's a Scion but it's probably a different type of infantry unit altogether, maybe even a major shock troop to replace common fodder since Reaper husks are pretty much the primary enemy in ME3.

Its forehead looks like a batarian and it has 4 (or 5? is that another one in its forehead? what is with the reapers ad having 1 additional eye for no apparent reason?) but it's its huge. Batarian husk equivalent of a scion? A batarian and a krogan got down with some sweet sweet lovin and their offspring was huskified? Who knows.

Well first of all we don't know if that picture is taken from earth. Could be on a mission planet other than earth.

The praetorian is made from 30 husks and it has 4 eyes cause it's main "head" was made to resemble that of a collectors.

Only game footage showed in that mgazine is from prologue and game starts on Earth.

Shepard kinda pissed off the Batarians in Arrival. Maybe they form an alliance with the Reapers. It makes sense. Batarians could be the new Geth. But instead of worship they're looking for revenge.
