Why on Earth would there be Batarian husks on Earth?!

Shepard kinda pissed off the Batarians in Arrival. Maybe they form an alliance with the Reapers. It makes sense. Batarians could be the new Geth. But instead of worship they're looking for revenge.

That is the most dumbest thing I have ever heard on BSN.

Well first of all we don't know if that picture is taken from earth. Could be on a mission planet other than earth.

The praetorian is made from 30 husks and it has 4 eyes cause it's main "head" was made to resemble that of a collectors.

Only game footage showed in that mgazine is from prologue and game starts on Earth.

Then i guess some reapers picked up a few batarian colonies before heading to earth.

Then why would they target Earth if they can harvest Batarians who look far more effective then human husks, if this are Batarian husks in the first place that is.

They would rather hit Citadel after that.

Really doubtful, as the husk shows. Reapers main philosphy is well stated by Harbinger:

"Take what is useful, destroy the rest"

How should i know, go ask the developers. But it's pretty clear earth and humans are one of the primary targets.

It screams Batarian even without the comparison picture.

It really might be a Batarian Scion. Its head is definitely Batarian. I'm not sure that everything we see in GI is from Earth (in fact, having seen other pics, I know it isn't). We also know that while the Reapers might be hitting Earth hard, they aren't restricting their attacks to that planet alone.

I'm hoping for a host of different Husks, Reaper-made mechs, and "avatars" ala' Saren and Paul Greyson as the main enemies. It would be cool if we had the standard Husks from ME 2 (Scions, Praetorians, etc.) plus at least one Husk-type for each race. We get a Batarian "scion" with some sort of plasma cannon, Asari husks with crude biotics, Krogan husks that act as "living" siege engines, and Turians that act like weapon using "elites". The possibilities are great for this. As I mentioned earlier, I'd like to see Reaper-made Synthetics so that Synthetic specific abilities (AI hacking, Overload) are more useful when fighting the main opponent.

^It better be a Batarian Scion, or else I'm calling racism on the Reapers for giving a Batarian Husk a big scary gun while Human Husks only get happy-flappy hands!

Possibly the Reapers could piece together different species. Add a bit of Batarian mixed with some Krogan. It's not impossible, the different species husks are new to ME3 and could be interesting to see combinations and what they can do and look like.

I'm not so sure the ones in that image are human husks.  There's something odd with the face and the body structure is off.  Too spindly.  The resolution isn't good enough to see the details though.

The only "shared" feature would be the size.  I put that in scarequotes because that size is still waaaay bigger than the one yahg we've seen, so it's not actually a "yahg" trait at all. And nothing else is yahg-like: not the eye-count, doesn't have the tripartite jaw or the horns or that unique split forearm, and so on.

It does have the large, diseased-looking fleshy lumps like a Scion though, and distinctly batarian facial features: head ridging, nose, and eye arrangement (the fifth central one pretty clearly seems to be like the third one seen on human husks).

Some sort of batarian husk. Maybe the batarians will bear the brunt of the initial Reaper invasion.
