Seriously, where are they? I've looked everywhere, and I can't find them. Help!

Thanks in advance!

NEW QUESTION:

So, I changed Merrill's appearance type to the default elf female, so she's in her underwear when she's not equipping anything. Then, I took her companion armor .uti and changed its item type to a standard chestpiece, so I could equip/unequip at will.

The issue is that when I equip it, it doesn't show up. She stays in her underwear. Other robes show up fine (the ones that actually have elf models, at least), so I know it's something to do with this outfit in particular.

My only thought was that maybe, somehow, the companion armors don't actually have any models associated with them. Since each companion has a unique body model (which includes the outfits), the actual items wouldn't NEED any model data. The companions could just appear naked, and they'd look like they were wearing their unique outfits.

In that case, it's not that the model won't show up in-game, but that the model isn't even there to begin with. So, how do I make it be there?

I know I'm kind of spamming the forums with my questions, but IF I GET THINGS SORTED OUT, it will be AWESOME.

NEVERMIND. SOLVED. FULL STEAM AHEAD WITH TEH AWZUM.

Oh. They're in .rims?

That would explain why I can't find them; I've been tearing through all the .erfs XD

Thanks so much!

[EDIT] Can they be extracted from the .rim and put in an .erf in the override folder like everything else? Or do I need to do something special?

I assume they would need to go in an erf if you are overriding.

One word of caution; they are GFF files now, so you'll need to use pyGFF to edit them.

Oh no, I have that... not the filename, the contents of the file itself. I tried to open the .mao in notepad like I would an Origins .mao
