Yes, I did. Like 7 days ago. These are the ID's of the developers I messaged.

Maybe if others would write them TOO with their problem about the "INVALID PERSONA/GAME COMBINATION" issue, they would perhaps do something. But I don't know.

I am really afraid that maybe they are too focused on Dragon Age 2, to care.

And by the way, Marvin_Arnold - I am playing exclusively on the XBOX 360, so your advice isn't relevant to my problem.

Here's the weird bit from me.

The thing that started this whole ordeal was that my Dragon Age 2 character wasn't showing up. I look at the profile Diagnostics for Dragon Age Origins, and poof there it is...oddly enough. I'm thinking because it was a character that used an apostrophe, K'yehlar, and I once had a character on Origins before I deleted it.

Now I'm unable to get any of my DA2 characters to show up on the site, but strangely enough my Origins/Awakening characters are showing up.

So what's the deal? What the hell is wrong with this site? lol

I have no idea. All I know is that I have had the invalid person/game combination thing giving me hell since december, 2010.

Maybe exchange 'Thousands' for 'a heck of a lot of other people, who are all posting similar problems over on the Origins forum, right now'.

For Steam versions with the console enabled help, firstly, depends on what version you have, base game or Ultimate Edition. If it's Ultimate, then you would have needed to edit a specific file to get the console working. In you did edit that file, hopefully you made a back up before editing it...that way you can just switch out the back up for the edited file. If you don't have a back up, then re-edit that file so that it appears the way it did when you got the game.

I do have Ultimate edition purchased on Steam, with the console enabled. I've switched out that specific file and the console is no longer enabled. Now I'm just waiting to see if my character will finally update.

I think most of us here are playing on the xbox 360. As far as the Unauthorized DLC problem goes, I have heard that ALLOT of people are being affected by that. Not just you.

Do you remember ever enabling it?  It's never on by default and you have to go out of your way to edit shortcuts/config files to turn it on, so if you don't remember doing that, you probably didn't.

This is a list of troubleshooting steps to look at if your characters aren't uploading from Origins PC version.  Also make sure you make a full save of your character every so often, because character data doesn't upload during quicksaves/auto-saves.

For anyone playing on the XBOX 360 version, suffering from the "INVALID PERSONA/GAME COMBINATION" issue, please move over the the XBOX360 tech support forum, and post your problems in my topic. Hopefully, it will be seen, by some of the dev's, considering they are working on the current problem with "unauthorized DLC" issue on the 360.

Btw what is persona >_< does it mean characters?

That's just what they call a profile. Persona = profile where all your characters/screenshots/achievements are stored online.

Basically you want to go through the list of possible solutions there to make sure the problem isn't on your end. Make sure you've got the game patched to the latest version, the "DA Updater Service" is running, if you use a router you'll want to open the necessary ports (listed in that thread) etc.

If none of that works, the problem is likely on EA's end but, as seen in this thread, there seems to be no way to get in contact with anyone who can actually do anything about these kinds of issues with the online storage/persona system.

Thanks Hawke did u have this problem? has anybody able to fix this problem yet? by trying the list of possible solution? btw i have Dragon Age 2 profile and another profile in Orgins so does this mean i have multiple persona do you only suppose to have one?
