The mall where I preordered my copy is literally across the street from me. If my roommate can't drive me in between our classes Tuesday, I will be riding my bike over to the store and getting it that way.




Which means crossing the busiest street in this city during lunch rush hour.




No, I am not joking.*




*However, I will of course wait until the pedestrian lights give me the go to cross said street. I'm impatient, not suicidal.

Off topic note: I really seem to have a knack for either being the very last person on a topic page, or the very first of a new one. Huh.

Hey, imagine how I feel. While I was once a spoiled 3-days-early American, I am now living and studying in Belgium, which means that not only do I have to wait for DA along with you, but it's even more torturous because I've just been playing DA off and on for 24 hours on Thursday and then I had to STOP! I also learned a humongous spoiler about Alistair that I didn't want to know completely by accident and it was like the second conversation I'd had with him during the game. *sighs* It's so much harder to not be able to play DA anymore when you know how it feels!

Those last days will be more than worse, because we know some people are already enjoying DA:O

November 5th for me too. But come 9am on Thursday, I'll be knocking on the roller door of my local EB games telling them to hurry up and open, because I need my DAO.

Is the release still 20th for ps3? heard a rumor that they may be bringing the date forward anyone know if its true.

May have to get the pc version till ps3 release if not as im an impatient Dwarf who sounds like a hooker with pmt

Well, I've got my own kind of wait, even though I'm in America.



Digital Deluxe version, so I've gotta download it before I can install it, and then I've gotta do that before I can play it...

But I'm kind of* lucky in that regard...



**I say kind of, for one simple reason...

I'm getting my Wisdom Teeth removed day of release, so I'll be able to start DL'ing before I go in and go under, and hopefully it'll be done by the time I get back, but I'm probably gonna feel like crap. If my teeth and/or gums don't hurt (My teeth already do hurt, actually, because said wisdom teeth are impacted, hence why I'm getting them removed,) then the anesthetic is gonna make me feel like pure dung... I'm getting put under for it. Lots of people just go with general anesthetic, but my gums and teeth are sensitive... Every time I've had to get Novocaine at the Dentists office, it makes my heart *pound,* so I'm making sure I go under if they're cuttin' up and pulling junk out in there... And even general anesthesia makes me irritable... Luckily, I'll have new game-li-ness to ease the pain and irritability!!!



ON THE THIRD! *Malicious laughter* Okay, that was low... I feel bad now for taunting the EU guys that gotta wait... And Wynne... Oh yeah, speaking of, that was EPIC Wynne. I spent the first 8 hours just trying to get the steam to work, but the other 16 I actually saw were AWESOME. I'm sad you guys lost, but if you had to lose, I'm glad it was to Hungary. They're some funny, classy guys.

I have been frothing at the mouth waiting for the 3rd. It seriosuly cannot come soon enough for me. For all you over seas folks I am sorry to hear your plight of waiting will go on longer. But just think, you may not need to worry about spoilers here as the people that get it on the 3rd will be too busy playing.

Well once work is over today the weekend tends to go by really fast. Monday is going to be a LONGGG day. If steam preloads I will spend Monday night DL'ing the game and take Tuesday off work to have a massive 12 hour gaming session. It will be like I'm 8 years old playing FF7 for the first time all over again.
