I'll use my royalty as a weapon and pay the enemies to kill themselves as I leisurely progress through the story and save the universe from the Reapers without ever firing a shot.

Part of me hopes we can chose whether we bring heavy weapons or not. I play as an infiltrator, and I prefer to play the stealthier sniper routine. Having heavy armor, and a canon on my back doesn't seem like something a sniper would do.

My thoughts on the subject are that I want a sniper rifle, shotgun, and heavy pistol. I am really excited for Mass Effect 3.

All of me hopes that. I go out of my everytime I play a new game of ME2 to mod out the heavy weapon. All of me also hopes we can name our customized gun. I'd name it Vera.

I'll name my shotgun "Aloe" and my assault rifle "Vera".

Then I can say I have Aloe Vera on my back while I use my pistol or SMG, HOHOHOHOHO

If one of the slots do not include a heavy weapon then I'm OK with that. If I can go around with a shotgun and an AR that covers range, then I'm proudly gunning with my Sentinel again.

I love the white looking sniper rifle, and the one above it looks like a geth assault rifle

lol, well it is a bit lackluster in design, but have no fear!! 
Using the ME3 Weapon System, slap on a few mods and it'll actually change appearance!!! I'm so stoked about this

I'm putting one on my Cain.

Maybe the bayonet is an upgrade you can put on any/most weapons for better melee attacks  

I imagine it would be a barrel uprade...

Sounds interesting... I REALLY wanna see this system in action. Like, REALLY bad!

Also, wondering how an M-8 Avenger would look with a modified barrel. I mean, the shape of it is so iconic and all... will be interesting to see how the pieces fit together.

Trust this Dragon Age fan. Let them take their time and do it right. If they screw up ME 3, say goodbye to the franchise. If they do it the justice that it looks like they're doing, it'll be more than worth the wait.
