Look at his facial structure/features. I cannot be 100% sure but I'm 95% sure that IS Captain Anderson.

If it is Anderson, I wonder how this plays out because he is in full battle-ready military gear but what if we chose him to lead the counsil in ME1?

^maybe they have more specific armor sets now?

(i personally prefer it, than say phoenix gear for everyone )

Why? The melee was cluncky and not useful in both ME1 and ME2, why create a melee centric unit?

He doesn't look all that different, we've just never seen him at that angle, or out of his "captain's duds" uniform. It's the hat that's doing it; he's got the same mouth/nose area, and the same eyes.

It's not whining if it's a legitimate issue. Why is Shepard all armored up while the squad is running around in lab coats and spandex? There was nothing wrong with the idea of squad armor in ME1. BW should have brought it back, and it looks like they haven't.

Well seeing how it's, oh  .....six to seven months at least till its release, I wouldn't count armor for Liara out just yet.

Liara is using the same armored lab coat she used in Lair of the... also we don't know if this is true. Let's wait a little more, if this $&"#%"!!!! confirms well.... there will be blood.... a lot of blood

And what if it's not a Normandy, and this time it's a battle cruiser?
We're at war, so maybe this time we don't need to be too stealthy, specially because if the collectors can detect the Normandy (THE stealth ship by excelence) why not the reapers?.
