Wow, I really am looking forward to how this game looks in-engine.

And in my opinion that doesn't look like Cap'n Anderson, he does have a Sergant Avery Johnson look to him though (watch it be Gunny Ellison!)

Why does he look so different? I hope they don't go all DA2 on ME3 and redesign every recuring character to the point of them being unrecognisable.

Oh sweet mercy if they pull a DA2 on ME3, the end of the trioligy( I can't write this word worth a damn) there is going to be sooo much hell. DA2 was a rush job, it would make my soul cringe if ME3 was :-/

my question in how many years is me3 after the events of me2?

me2 was 2 years after me1

are we looking at maybe a 7 year jump including aging?

It's concept art and he's wearing an entirely new outfit. Of course he's not going to look identical to the in-game, potato model from ME1, which was pretty horrid anyway.

I think the timegap between the two games is the real-life amount of time that has passed between the two games.  CDN provided us with daily updates of ME canon, and it can be hypothesized that ME3 happens approximately two years after the events of ME2.

(Like how ME and ME2 were approx two years apart too, as Mira indicated when you return to the Citadel in ME2)

No way is the gap that long. ME3 starts with the trial over what Shepard did in Arrival, so the gap would be a couple of days between the two games. A week or two at most.

LOOK OUT, Spoilers in ths comment:

Remember THE TRIAL, and what Shep says to Hackett, about the charges: "I'll go to earth as soon as I finish the mission" (The suicide mission) so maybe just a few months of difference as maximun, maybe the story of the game passes trough many years (something like DAII)

We're looking at months, maybe a year tops.

SPOILERS

Hackett also said "When Earth calls, you better be ready with your dress blues on ready to take the hit".  You don't know if the "mission" is post SM or Arrival.

Trials don't happen right away, possibly when the Alliance finishes their investigation, that's when Shepard is conviened into a formal trial.  I think six months between Arrival and ME3 is an ample amount of time for it on convene.

I would love some big-badass space marine armor for my Shepard, considering he is, after all, a soldier. Maybe some new class specific sets? The Bigness for soldier, the not-so-bigness (and various versions of it) for... everyone else.

This.

Adepts should wear lab coats, leather commando uniforms, and sleek, tight, plate armor for Adepts. Bulky combat gear for soldiers and vanguards. Glowing tech armor with lights and cybernetics for engineers and sentinels. A combination of bulky tech and sleek suits with combat hoods for infiltrators.

I don't want to sound a jerk, but, what if I put a link to a page that has a another link that directs you to the copyrighted images, it's that legal?

How close are the Reapers? Since they're poised to attack during the trial, how can ME3 be months away?

If your intention is to lead someone down the path to viewing the scans, no.

If you're wondering how I know what your intentions are, I get to use my best judgement.

I was just asking, don't worry  :o also, is kinda stupid to be banned for something so simple

Actually the pics are removed from this thread, but they are still on the net. Just goto Google and use the correct search words and you should be fine.

This is just going to lead to the exchange of these images on unofficial sites. Which is happening right now. Just go google unofficial mass effect sites.

Picture of a Cerebus unit with a weird looking nightstick attached to his arm. I'm guessing its displaces Barriers or shields.

If they are than apparantly Garrus is the ME version of Anders now. That and everyone thusfar looks slightly different other than Shepard.
