Cancer Puppet

So, where were these ultra bad@ss Cerberus guys when we were going on the suicide mission? What, TIM couldn't have spared a couple of squads of these guys at the time? Oh, that's okay, we get Ken and Gabby...and Rupert and...some other guys who aren't much good in a fight. YEAH!!!!

I thought it was pretty clear that the crew of the SR-2 were Cerberus' most reasonable and non-xenophobic members, people who had personal stakes in protecting fringe colonies, and people who were legitimately in it for advancement of humanity. TIM chose people who would make Shepard comfortable.

I imagine these guys are part of the fanatical, xenophobic and ruthless brance of Cerberus Military.

Awesome !

But this black guy, is it really Anderson ? He looks hot, but I don't recognize his face.

Whoever the "black guy" as so many of you put it is he looks like just like Johnson or whatever his name was from Halo. Anyone else get that feeling?

Someone who already have the magazine confirmed the "black guy" IS Anderson.

I'm very sure that's anderson, or someone related to him. Facial structure looks like him, and as it has been said a million times, we aren't used to seeing him in combat gear.

http://images.wikia....cilanderson.png

This is a good pic of Anderson for similarities in facial structure. Same cheekbones, nose, eye color, ears, dark spots in the exact same place below his eyes in towards his nose, etc... The lighting is different, but from a bunch of other photo's with similar lighting to the GI scan you can see they have the same skin color (and I don't just mean "black," I mean light-skinned black with an overall warm hue). If I have time later I might try to get a screen shot that shows him at the same angle.

The thing is, the GI pic shows him at almost a full profile shot and most of the images of him on the web are front shots. The only noticeable difference I see is that his wrinkles are less obvious in the GI scan, but it's fairly blurry, which would make things like wrinkles harder to see.

Reminds me a bit too much of that one level in Halo Reach, but other than that looks incredible.

As far as i'm aware they don't sell it in the UK, an jus to clarify, there are no scans online as of yet, only webcam/phone camera pictures which are fuzzy and generally bad quality.

Okay, picture 3 of 10, the one in the lower left hand third of the image, that's Shepard's quarters with someone busting through the ceiling window.

You sure about that? Could just be a random hotel room or something.

I'm sure. The layout is the same, it's just that the holographic displays for the armor customization isn't active.

Talking about the pic from GI. His hat in particular might be throwing people off. Anderson has a very sloped forhead that is one of his more distintive facial features, and it's totally covered by the hat.

There are instructions earlier in the thread about how to find them, but since I don't think those posts got deleated, so I'll just repost the info (PS. Mods, just take this bit down if it violates any rules). Google "Gaming everything Mass Effect 3" there are two sets. The guy who I think is Anderson is in the second set.

Naysayers, please use the zoom feature to get a good look at his face.

Well. It does have the same two-person bed and the small table at side. But those things a very common in a room.

It's more than the layout, the lines are the same as well.

Is it bad that the one thing I notice in this image is the fact that the bed is conforming to the character? What I mean is, it isn't a slab of metal but it changes like an actual mattress - all cushy and such. It's these kinds of attentions to detail that make me smile.

Sincerely,

Someone who needs to get their priorities in line.

I really wonder what casued this change in design. From what is seen on the scans I'd guess I'm looking at Crysis Effect: Combat Evolved instead of ME3.
It's not only some of characters but basically the entire style of the game that got changed.
I appreciate any effort to make the homeworld of each species look unique, but this is taking things pretty far isn't it?

Base entire opinon of game on 15 shakey, cell phone pictures of screens released months before the game actually comes out. Perfect sense. A few enemy designs(not redesigns even) and a few replacements for character models from over 4 years ago are not a world changing shift in design theory. If you really think that a few new mechs and a blurry photo of Anderson make it Crysis, especially considering the circumstances the galaxy is under along with the events of one of the novels it doesn't make sense for Anderson to be in his linen garb anyway.

I noticed that the heavily suited soldiers are carrying Cerberus Shotguns. The model of shotty's they are carrying are used only by Cerberus Shocktroopers, according to the weapon Codex in ME2. It's safe to assume that these are Cerberus Shock troops.

Weirdly, I got a Transformers vibe from the new Cerberus troops.

Er, of which I very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very much approve!
