Not the end. So many possibilities with ME that it can branch out to Squad based shooter, FPS, MMO, RTS, ETC

Honestly I think BW is going to cash in with a Multiplayer game wether it be based off of the first contact war I just get the feeling a FPS is coming our way. I have hopes that they will deliver a epic storyline.

Choose your race (asari for me) and go off and do something amazing. Perhaps be part of a new war against a cool new race, that have discovered the mass relays.

Something multiplayer related for sure, i don´t think a MMO because bioware already is working on SWTOR. Hopefully we will see some game similar to the current MEs but on a smaller scale (adventures of Garrus in Omega, or Nihlus as a Spectre, or Saren pre-Sovereign etc.) that are fun and still develop the setting. I personally would like to play as another species other than human.

Mass Effect MMO is a big if. either way we wont see anything like that for quite awhile.

MMOs are too expensive and are no longer where the money is. Social games are where you get rich. So that means...

The universe is too damn large to not consider an MMO, but I have a feeling that BioWare wouldn't want to do that just yet. For 3 reasons:

1) They're already making another huge licensed Sci-Fi space MMO in the Old Republic.
2) ME, while a huge seller, isn't quite the cultural phenomenon it needs to be yet to dominate the MMO space. Once ME3, the animated film, possibly a live action film, and a few more games prove successful to maintain the franchise into perpetuity, THEN it will have the critical mass of fan support needed to maintain monthly subscribers numbering in the multi-millions.
3) Personally: needs more aliens and worlds still. As the Sci-fi setting of ME is a bit more realistic than Star Wars or even Star Trek (to some degree) most worlds encountered are dead, barren places or possibly getting colonized by already propagating space faring races. It needs a few more semi-major races to really bring the diversity up to par with what I think MMO players would want.

Oh and yeah, there will need to be a fairly large gap for BW to decide what the "canon" ending of the entire trilogy is if they want to go past it. Considering the numbers of options, there may be a lot of possibilities and they'll probably want to figure out both their favorite and/or the most common.
