If you love the Stonehammer armor set like I do (well except for the helm), then you might enjoy my re-textured versions.
Packed in the file are two .erp files:
- a darker metal version- a normal, original style version

both versions have had their under padding and leather pieces darkened a little, I wanted the metal pieces to "pop".  I also tried to enhance the metal rings that help tie the red braids to look more like metal, gold or bronze, rather then yellow plastic rings.  I even redid the helmet for the darker version. :)
The darker metal version looks a bit more "gritty" to me, and it's the one I use in my play-thoughs.

How does this affect the other armors that share Stonehammer's model?

As far as I know, they're just the same with a different tint applied, so changing the diffuse map (as I assume you did?) would alter those other sets too.

[EDIT] ALSO IT LOOKS GOOD I FEEL SO RUDE FOR JUST ASKING A QUESTION WITHOUT MENTIONING THAT I'M SORRY!

I like this armor set as well, it looks nice and massive (well, on male anyway), wish there were perhaps a bit more "metal" around the legs but anyways. And yeah, the helmet does look super ugly, main reason why I always switch on "Hide helmets" when I play a char wearing this armor. I like the idea of darker texturing and will definitely try this out, thanks.

The Stonehammer Helm was the reason I remembered about the "Hide Helmets" option...

But that armour looks great.

Np :)
Yeah, just like most things that share meshes, you alter one texture you affect them all.  If the other armors in the game use this replacement texture, it will simply be a darker tint result for the areas affected (if that makes any sense..me no good wid words).

This armor always looked like something you see in ComicCon, some random dude has taped trashcans and old pots together and slapped some paint on and then he runs around all "I'm level 90 paladin! This is my armor of Light!"

Great mod but I just cant take this armor seriously :D

But that's the beauty of this armor! :) As the lore tells, this armor was given as a reward to the winner of the tournament, over a long period of time. So we can just assume that several owners of this armor "customised" it to meet their needs or their combat styles, adding bits and pieces or modifying something and so on. Which in essence means that this armor is the "true workhorse", not some display piece and that's what gives to it it's charm. Look even at all the nicks and scratches and dents on it, it all adds to the whole. That's why I like it - well, except the stupid looking helm, whoever designed that should know that people in "ye olde days" did NOT use buckets as helmets.
