So up to the point in act three when I visited the haunted house, I had three armor upgrades for Varric. Bianca had 1 rune slot and his default armor had another two. I don't know what happened in the meantime, but after this quest I still had three of the four armor upgrades, but suddenly bianca had 4 rune slots and his default armor was back to zero.
Is that supposed to happen? What causes it?

That's new to me, I know if you let him keep the Idol piece, I believe Bianca get's more slots in her, but I never heard of loss of Armor pieces.

I see, so there's a bug that makes you lose the rune slots. Bummer, I love the 4 slots on bianca, but it would've been awesome if I didn't have to trade.
