I don't understand people who enjoyed reading paragraphs of text in DAO before deciding which was closer to what they wanted to say. Voice acted PC is great.

Well, a lot of people who enjoyed the paragraphs of text are used to that.  They used to read things made out of leather and paper called books..which had thousands of paragraphs.  Back in the old days, schools would make us learn things from 'books'.  So much better to have less information and a few spoken words...not.

So people who enjoy games, which are predominantly a visual medium and prefer their PC voiced are obvisously illiterate schmucks? You know you could always go back to the good old days of DOS games and ignore all the advances and future possibilities of gaming as a medium. Yes let's keep the PC in the dark ages because obviously those who don't want it to be the only text based character have never read a book. Way to go dude! What a cheap shot.

I prefer voiced PCs. Agressive m!Hawke delivering that speech in the Gallows was powerful and stalwart. I can't imagine letting an NPC ever doing the job for you again like Alistair/Anora did in Origins simply because your PC had no voice. It was basically inhibiting your potential to make an impact on the troops you spent months amassing.

Unvoiced. M!Hawke's speeches felt weak. Several flirt lines made me cringe and I can't play FemHawke because I cringe and laugh everytime she says something.
