I DL-ed the special offer (DA:2) via EA's download manager. It took forever to DL. The manager finally told me it had completed. However, when I go to play the game, I get the splash screen that has "Play," "Configure" and other options on it. When I click "Play" I get the following error message:

"The game cannot launch because of a misconfiguration. Please reinstall your game and try again"

Can I even reinstall since I received the free game via a special offer? 

(Also, I patched to the current patch before trying it again this morning. Same error message.)

I am running Windows XP on a machine that is more than capable to run this game. All drivers, etc., are current.
