So I have finished my second playthrough and what I really
liked in both games were the amount of details. (Tiny) things that made the world
and story more realistic and fun.

Let me give you some examples:

  • I walked into Fenris’s house and he was in a conversation
with Isabella. When she left she gave me a naughty wink.. That was nicely done!
  • I met Zevran and when I finished his quest he stood by me in
the end battle against Meredith. I didn’t even know he would be by my side..
    Loved it!

I can go on a little bit more, but I am curious what you all
thought was nicely done regarding the details.

So please if anyone knows another (funny) detail you came
across while playing DA2, please put it in this thread. It would be fun to see
things in my third playthrough..:)

I dunno if those examples make the world more realistic. Isabela is flirty, we know this already. The wink establishes her character further but doesn't do much beyond that.

Zevran is just kind of a WTF moment. I mean, he just happens to be there? That's not really realistic at all.

I could've done with a few extra details here and there. Like maybe if Fenris got rid of the corpses in his lobby. Or at least put on some shoes.

Well maybe realistic is the wrong term then, maybe something more like: okay, didn't see that one coming:happy:

Do you have some details in the game you liked?

For me DA2 lacks details, and hurts the imersion.

Example 1: Posted Image

Example 2: The years passes, but the characters have the SAME face, the SAME clothes, the merchants are at the SAME place, the building look the SAME.

Example 3: You can be a Blood Mage, but the world doesnt "recognize" it.

Example 4: When entering the Chantry or the place where the Templars stay, if you are a apostate mage, would be nice if your staff doesnt show up (except when you have to fight of course).

It is a very good game overall, but i disagree that they paid attention to the details "in game" (the codex is always brilliant). Dont know, but it felt rushed.

Ah, i also liked a lot the finishing moves Origins had... would be nice if they could mix the action of DA2, and the random finishing moves of DAO. Hope they dont have to rush DA3...
