At some point in Act 1, the persistent blood and
gore has stopped appearing on my player character after a battle. It DID work
for a while, but it stopped working somewhere along the line. I checked the
options, and the persistent gore box IS checked. AND, persistent blood and gore
still shows on my companions, just not on ME.



I am running several different mods... So I'm wondering, is this a known bug?
Or could it possibly be one of the mods that is causing the issue?

I'd say it's a high possibility it's one of the mods. Modding in DA2 is still in it's infancy so we don't know which mods will clash with what until their is proper testing. Best thing you can do is move the mods out of override one by one and then put them back in when you have confirmed it's not causing the issue. If you find a mod that causes it inform the mod creator as they'll likely want to know about the issue.

i turned mine off because the gore gets on people's teeth and it shows up looking like they have missing teeth... the missing teeth look drives me nuts and i cant stand it for some reason.... i couldn't stand the yellow teeth in dao either... i had to whiten them heheh

Thanks for the replies. I "think" I've tracked it down to the mage Silverite armor mod. Need to do a little more testing to find out for sure.
