Now before you start to rage and flame me, this isn't a thread about "Oh this game sucks, blah blah blah, uninstalling because its a waste of time!", I really enjoy this game, but my computer can only support around 2 games at a time, at the moment they are Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age: 2.

When I uninstalled DA:O, it kept my save game files, all of them were saved and kept on my computer, which meant when I re-installed the game I was able to carry on as normal on old characters. But with my Mass Effect 2 uninstallment (I might of missed the tick boxes, although I remember ticking them) my save games were all deleted, which was rather upsetting as I put a lot of hours into the game, but hey-ho easily fixed with re-starting.

So my question is, if I uninstall my DA:2, will it also delete my save games and characters along with it?

P.S. On the "My Games" section of the forum, it has my DA:O profile connected but not my DA:2, I click the 'Connect to online profile' button but nothing happens, hope I get a reply soon!

Uninstalling the game would remove your save files. But you can always back them up using the steps below:

* Click the Start button and select Documents.
* Select the BioWare folder.
* Select the Dragon Age 2 folder.
* Right-click the Characters folder and select Cut.
* Right-click on your desktop and select Paste.
* To restore your Dragon Age 2 save games, move this folder back into the Dragon Age 2 folder.

the bad news are that there may be times when you reinstall and import old save to have it "corrupted" ouch baby..
