Shepard seems alot more agile now, he can roll, jump over low objects and use ladders. He may finally no longer feel like a slightly more limber version of Robocop. Makes it sound like the combat will be even more fluid

He can seriously roll?

Damn my sentence structure was really awkward there. But yeah according the article he has a new roll move and the ability to leap over gaps and low objects.

Cool :) I wonder how that will look. Well, I guess it'll definitely make Shep look more agile.

I'm just left wondering as someone else already asked, what is the scope of the Reaper invasion? Just targeting Earth and using it as their area of operations, and sending death teams out to find Shepard? Or is it actually a full scale galactic invasion with every species under siege?

It sounds like full on galactic war, but that Earth was hit first.  You take out the species that has shown itself to be the greatest threat, and then move on with clean-up.  There will be reaper battles with other species in other parts of the galaxy.  They have to be getting the non-humans husks from somewhere.

However, the article does suggest that some races will not (currently) be under reaper attack, but will instead have other problems.  For example, Quarian vs. Geth on the homeworld.  This makes sense from a strategic perspective. Why should the reapers waste resources taking them both down now if they are going to do their work for them.  Save it for the races that matter, like humans and krogan.

Aren't #3 & #5 a bit contradictory? If the battlegrouns are going to be generally larger, shouldn't the focus be more on long range shootouts and sniper fire, rather than on melee?

Large battlefields =/= small amount of enemies on the polar opposite edge of those battlefields.

Large battlefields = lots of room with metric buttloads of enemies in both short and long range combat.

Y'know. Like in war.

HELL NO! Last time we worked with them they detonated a bomb and Shepard took the wrap! I still can't believe we got blamed for that mess.... lol jk I would like to work with again though, but if they have anymore crazy ideas they should own up to them after they've carried out.

You don't have to say anything Brenon. Now if you would be just kind enough to remove those firewalls from your computers.

Do you mean post the picture? Because that is illegal. It breaks copyright laws.
But you could always describe it in extremely accurate detail. :D

It'd get boring very fast if I could just snipe people from afar without any problem.

If there's one spoiler I'd like to have prior to ME3 and nothing else, that would be why TIM wants Shep dead.

I'm guessing it's because he took EDI and the Normandy and ran to the Alliance. Hell just taking EDI alone could be enough.

I love what I'm hearing so far, ME3 sounds absolutely amazing. Seems like everything I was hoping to be fixed/added/adjusted has been done.

I'm just left wondering as someone else already asked, what is the scope of the Reaper invasion? Just targeting Earth and using it as their area of operations, and sending death teams out to find Shepard? Or is it actually a full scale galactic invasion with every species under siege?

Casey Hudson says it's a full-scale war. :wizard:

I just got my hands on some actual scans of the thing (where the HELL is my issue, GI?! I hate resorting to the Internet when I shouldn't have to! -.- ) and yes, there's a lot of interesting stuff in there. I was particularly interested in how Anderson apparently filled a "placeholder" role that initially suggested he was playable until BioWare clarified. Perhaps he's playable in some other capacity at another point in the game?

There's also that "storyboarded" Reaper/Thresher Maw scenario to think about, suggesting that there will be at least one Reaper at some point in the game that's nowhere near Earth. That could hint at any number of things, actually.

I wonder if a Renegade Shep can still work for Cerberus. What if you kept the base?

Renegade shep bowing down to.... well.... anyone doesn't seem likely to me especially if they're trying to kill him.
