12. Loyalty of species cannot be gained solely through quests.
13. Ladders in levels! And no more duck and roll motion!

#12 makes sense, like if a Shep didn't save the Council in ME1, it may be difficult to get the asari, turians, and salarians support.

And ladders? I wonder how that's going to work.

Easy, Shepard will grap the ladder with his hands and climb silly! :D

#3 I'm looking forward to the melee emphasis the most. I wonder if krogan enemies (if there are any - I'm assuming there will be) will be more akin to how aggressive they were in ME1 if you got close than just walking slowly towards you like in ME2. #4 and #5 look promising as well. Hell, it all looks good. Hopefully it will live up to it. :)

It's multi level maps - just like those in ME2 without the ramps

Levels will no longer be flat, or comprised of long gradients. It's pretty simple really, pure shooters have been doing it forever.

It should be quantifiable improvement for opening the levels up and making them feel more spacious when up and down are also options for movement.

Being able to climb ladders to get to a better vantage point sounds awesome.

14. There will be balance with the squadmates (I.e., if Garrus died, then the game won't cheat you of a character)

I assume this means that most ME2 characters return but if you lost one that was going to be a squadmate again in ME3. Then you will get a redshirt replacement?

I hope we can mod Sanders to make him look like the Colonel.
Anyway this is making the wait even more painful, it's bad enough it comes around at the same time as Skyrim and SR3. It sounds to damn good.

Javier, I forgot to send you some more info:

12. Loyalty of species cannot be gained solely through quests.
13. Ladders in levels! And no more duck and roll motion!
14. There will be balance with the squadmates (I.e., if Garrus died, then the game won't cheat you of a character)
15. ME decisions, such as the Rachni Queen, will play a larger part in ME3 then ME2 (duh?!)
16. And most importantly, there is no concrete way to fight the Reapers. YOU decided which idea to take - but beware, there's red herrings and the plan to take back Earth will change as you go.

Wow, ladders huh :) :D:D:D:D

Ok, added in new info, the OP is now complete

IDK how Bioware would do this, but I assume that if Garrus died, then the whole mission/squadmate oppertunity is gone.

16 sounds interesting, but I'm going to have to wait and see it for myself to believe it. I really, REALLY want it to be true.

Just buy a magazine for your local gamestop haha :P

But seriously though, this just what might make ME3 the greatest of all three games.

You made a mistake in the OP, you said that the loyalty/allegiance of species can only e gotten through quests, it was the other way around, your previous actions will also affect it.
