I've seen a new humanoid creature. It appeared to have no full armor, but instead an exoskeleton armor. It looked more like concept art, so I am not sure if it ever appears in the game.

They also do a lot of over-time. So, it is likely to be deserved. ;)

Where? I have the scans right here and I can't see anything like that.

OMG, OMG, Shepard can roll? Is this confirmed?

This is dream coming true! Can't wait.

Yup, this is confirmed

Stop. Drop. Roll. CHARGE!

Rolling?  Wait that sounds horrible and more akin to Gears of War.    I really hope it isnt some over the top forward flipping thing where you fly 6 meters into cover like that game...

Not sure if this has been stated, but it appears we will have a new ship in ME3. Well so to speak, the Normandy has been reclaimed by the Alliance and will be deconstructed and rebuild with a few upgrades. I'm actually liking this, hopefully we'll get the dark, gloomy interior of the SR1 again, i so missed that in ME2.

Just read the full article. ME3 sounds like it's going to be everything I wanted it to be.

Only two things made me sad: first off, Casey was being his good ol' question-dodging self, so the interview with him was hard to comprehend. Secondly, it was mentioned that we may not get the opportunity for an "Ah, yes, 'Reapers'" comeback. :c

Just so long as they don't mess up my Shepard's awesome pad. In fact, they should add some extra amenities.

Hated SR-1's lighting for the main fact that I have to waste more than an hour of gameplay just to find out I gave my female Shepard the wrong skin tone.

Look up one of the picture scans, and there's a profile of him.

Saw the HQ scans.. very, very impressed. Seems like Hudson and his team really took the feedback of ME2 to heart and want to make everything "bigger and better" and fix the broken/missing RPG elements of ME2 without sacrificing or dumbing anything down. The screenshots were also pretty incredible, I really love the new enemy designs and environments. Things are looking a little.. I dunno, Vanquish/Metal Gear-ish, which I really love. The concept art for James Sanders is a little weird though, he does seem like a weird sci-fi JRPG character. Also I swear I saw a headcrab with cannons and one of those things from Doom with the chaingun arms in the enemy screenshots. So awesome.

Thank you Hudson and crew.. hype +100

Shepard
seems alot more agile now, he can roll, jump over low objects and use
ladders. He may finally no longer feel like a slightly more limber
version of Robocop. Makes it sound like the combat will be even more
fluid

He can seriously roll?

Finally, my Shepard can truly become Captain Kirk.

They see me rollin, They hatin...

Don't know if it was him, but it was directly above his little info box.  What with the ponytail, the skirt-jacket, and the cyborg eyes, I'm not sure if want...

Honestly, I thought it was Kai Leng...

Can you comment on Enemy Tactics?

I'm heading out for coffee right now... but maybe later!

Sooo... one thing we're focusing a lot more on in ME3 is enemy composition. We have a handful of roles that enemies fit into. So, take husks for example - when fighting husks you generally don't want to be in cover. They're pretty mobile, and can do terrible things to you in close range. So, when engaging them you generally want to be able to move around a lot. They fall into our "cover buster" role.

In a given fight we might combine husks with a "suppressor" type of enemy. Suppressors try to keep you pinned in cover. With both of those types in one fight, as a player you have to decide which is the larger threat. Do you send your squadmates against the Husks? Do you try to find a position where you're more protected from the suppressor enemy and take on the Husks? Or do you run headlong towards the suppressor in the back, and try to take it down quickly while avoiding the Husks?

Obviously that's just an example, and normally a fight is comprised of more than just two different roles (additionally, "suppressor" / "cover buster" combinations are pretty damned hard to fight). So you might be able to see how just with interesting composition you can get extremely dynamic experiences that can vary significantly from attempt to attempt.

This is also not going into any of the synergistic elements of some of the enemies either... some enemies have ability sets that help or modify other enemies, making them potentially a *lot* tougher... if you let them...

Edit: Look at his arms and head.

I really like that supressor idea, brennon, it adds a much more tactical element to the combat.

some enemies have ability sets that help or modify other enemies

As long as I don't see a YMIR with a bubble shield, I'm interested to see that...

The suppressor deal sounds a lot like Scions and normal husks.

Personally, I'd much prefer to keep the ME2 color scheme for the SR-2. Having everything be blue was really annoying in ME1.

Salarian Homeworld, Ladders, Rollan more customization of weapons.

Still I have a feeling it is still going to be an action/3d person shooter. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Just read through the article...and holy beejeezus!

ME3 sounds EXACTLY like everything I was hoping for...."there is no Reaper Off button"...

It sounds a lot more open - "against the Reapers continuous attacks across the Galaxy"...*swoon*

This is going to be epic.
