The ladder also seems like an excellent way to die. The ramps atleast served as cover sometimes. Either the ladders have to be covered from the front or they have to be out of the way to even be remotely usable.

Did i just read that I will be starting with all of my abilities?
Yup, that's correct. It says that you will "Start Me3 with most of your basic abilities from ME2"

The roll seems unnecessary and I don't see how much benefit that could have unless it's cover to cover.

I think rolls look cool. The ramps were boring IMO - and perhaps ladder combat is feasible?

It doesn't clarify, but I imagine it must be a little like both, I dont' think there's going to be a massive inventory. it seems like that's just an option to switch your loadout on the fly, so I guess more like COD. this is all just speculationMrDizaztar wrote...
When is says that weapons can be picked up, does that mean like Fallout or COD

In fact...I got the distinct impression we'll be traversing further over the galaxy than in the previous games...AND we'll be doing it while running into Reapers pretty frequently.

But they did mention MMO. I hope Bioware isn't focusing its resources on MMO's like Blizzard.

The article doesn't say anything more than whats been quoted already on the subject. Its just very briefly mentioned and something I think they will hold back on revealing if its included. Afterall its a new mechanic so is probably nowhere near finalised yet.
I would think it'd be a one time instance in the game, one fight spaceship fight with Reapers perhaps near the end of the game. Something like that as a regular occurence throughout could limit the rest of the game like groundside combat so this might mean Mako/Hammerhead exploration isn't gonna be a major occurence either.

Number 16 evolving powers, anybody else having daydreams of using stasis to crush people?
I can’t wait to see how the game works incorporating 4, 5 and 16.
Edit: I just found and read the atricle, so amazing. Shame the entire thing can't be posted here.

Yeah I was thinking they might do it like Halo: Reach, not copy the mechanics but make it a one time deal. That section worked so well because it was atmospheric and fun but also brief enough that it didn't have time to get tedious or boring.Sparroww wrote...

I think Casey said that the vehicle sections would be like ME2, not part of the main story but there for anyone who wants them. I'll see if I can find the exact quote.
EDIT: And the quote is... "I think its going to be more like Mass Effect 2, where its not built into the critical path. We have opportunities for other kind of fun bits - not necessarily like anything we've done before, but with some stuff thats a little bit different."
