I will miss the Mako exploration, actually. But if they can replace it with solid space combat. Lord...that would be awesome.

Well in Genesis it seems Garrus was capable of flight at the end.

And dual-wielding.

@Druss, haven't played Reach but I know what you mean, I reckon vehicle gameplay will function in a manner similar to stuff like the sections in Overlord and LotSB from ME2.

The exact quote on vehicles was this....

"I think its going to be more like Mass Effect 2, where its not built into the critical path. We have opportunities for other kind of fun bits - not necessarily like anything we've done before, but with some stuff thats a little bit different."

I'm glad the Reapers have more ambitions than just taking Earth. Ignoring the rest of the Galaxy makes them vulnerable.

I wonder what they're going to do about the Citadel. That should be their key point of interest for obvious reasons.

I don't thin it should. Attacking the Citadel is the easiest way of uniting the galaxy against them. And they have to attack from the outside which wasn't the case 50k years ago. It's a lot easier to take them one by one while they are divided.

Taking the Citadel gives them full access to the relay network. Cutting relay travel would render the Galaxy truly divided and helpless.

You won't find it here. It's against the copyright law.

The Reapers had to have invaded other parts of the galaxy otherwise we wouldn't be fighting different species of husks.

7. There is a larger skill tree and RPG aspects are going to be more integrated.

Is this correct or a joke?

Yeah I was thinking they might do it like Halo: Reach, not copy the mechanics but make it a one time deal. That section worked so well because it was atmospheric and fun but also brief enough that it didn't have time to get tedious or boring.

I have to respectfully disagree with you on that, from a gameplay perspective the Sabre section was great reminiscant of Battlefronts fighter combat. My problem with it was that for something that was touted as Halo's entry into space combat, something people had been clamoring for, it was much too short. What bothered me most of all was that it was just a shooting break, albeit a well designed one; they also had a disturbing lack of ODPs but that is another arguement in itself.

If space combat does appear in ME3 I sincerly hope it has much more staying power than its Reach counterpart. I want to be genuinely satisfied at the end of the sequence... not going "wtf, that's it."

I read it 10 minutes ago but it doesn't really add anything that the article didn't already have. I'll add it though :)
