However I hate to be a negative nancy but I did read something that got the alarm bells ringing and I am afraid it is about this "interactive comic". Now I have no problems with the interactive comic, I think it is a fantastic idea for new players and those that want to use it. I do have a problem with making people that import a save game use it though.
If you read Casey's interview he clearly states that you will have to sit through the comic even if you import a save game. I am sure that is a great idea on paper but in reality it is going to really annoy a lot of seasoned ME players. By the time ME 3 comes out I will probably have about 20 Shepards that I will want to shove through ME 3. That means if the comic is mandatory I will have to sit through that comic at least 20 times (I am really not that much of a fan of comics).
I don't need a comic to retell the story of ME 1 and 2 I spent at least 500 hours playing ME 1 and nearly 700 hours playing ME 2. All I am going to need is a quick summary screen reminding me of the decisions my Shepard made. I really really hope that Bioware make the comic skippable or it is really going to kill the replay value of ME 3 for seasoned ME gamers.
Other than that I really love what I have read so far.

Question: Does anyone recognize the weapon and armor that Kaidan is holding and wearing in the article?
The armor, no clue
The weapon, looks like a Scimitar to me

I think that's Schimitar assault shotgun he's holding. Armor seems to be new.

The armor looks like the Kestrel chestplate with shiny blue at first glance, and it appears to be a shotgun in his hand (a little bit uncharacteristic for Kaidan at first thought).
EDIT: Double ninja'd. lol

Buh? Really? Because that would totally blow. I suppose that if it were a cinematic detailing all your past choices, that could be kinda cool, but the PS3 comic did not set a great precedent...
And haven't we been asking for a skippable intro for the past two games? Why won't they lisstttteennn!?!?!

Yeah, those are all THE SAME GUN.
No really, go back and look at 'em. Same size, same basic configuration (handle, handguard, stock, barrel, etc.) same basic shape. They're all the same gun, with different accessories/materials.
Bioware, it seems, is not f*cking around this time.

Reread the interview. We get the comic reguardless, but if you import a save file, the comic serves as a recap. Coming in new, it helps you make decisions.
I agree, this sounds good on paper, but in practice it's gonna suck for those who play the game more than a couple of times.

Does anyone wonder if that's a......dun dun dun female Batarian?
I mean, in all likely hood, probably not, I mean why would Cerberus recruit a batarian.....unless she was a skilled assassin...?
Look at the 4 red eyes on the helmet..
Thoughts?

I am loving what I have read in the GI mag 99.9% of it sounds awesome beyond words and I am wondering if I can go into hibernation for 8 months because the wait is made all the worse with the "awesomeness" contained in that article.

I wouldn't mind watching a comic, to just get everything fresh in my head and suh from the past games.
I don't want to play an interactive comic though to just make the decisions right there I have made the past two games.

Probably not, the four eyes might be cameras. The Cerberus guys on page 54 have the same helmets. Reminds me a bit of the GN-X.javierabegazo wrote...

Could just be multiple sensors and/or googles at work, but a female blink sounds good.

The 4 glowing eyes on the helmet look similar to Isaac's helmet from Dead Space 2 so could just be cosmetic rather than a batarian helmet, plus they're in Cerberus colours and it's unlikely its something other than human.
