So... can anyone confirm if going against Cerberus is MANDATORY? That would be really awful for pro-Cerberus Shepards. If this is the case a lot of people are going to be very upset.

Infiltrator and vanguard get 3
and soldier gets 4
Not counting heavy weapons and if this game is anything like 2 I'm guessing we'll get an extra bonus weapon sometime in the story.
So do you guys think that sounds about right?

My guess is no more bonus weapons because you will probably be able to pick the weapons you want to take with each mission. At least that is the way I understood it.

I didn't mean bonus wepons I meant bonus slots. I want those because my Adept in ME2 could carry 3 guns by the end of the game. Having an Adept in the 3rd game that can't do the same will be a lil bit of a let down.N7 Vanguard wrote...

I think there will be an opportunity to get an extra slot for a weapon for all classes at some point in the mid-late game same as in ME2.
Though as long as my Adept can carry an assault rifle AND a shotgun at the same for the start of ME3 then I'll be happy.

Indeed, my Adept never (except a few out-of-ammo moments) uses HP and/or SMG anymore once she gets a proper weapon on the DCS. Two weapons will be more than enough imo.

You can do that in ME2, still. Just target an enemy and command them to move.toppot wrote...

I would prefer to see space combat only in cutscenes. It's more epic that way
Yeah i total agree. That said, i don't know why but seeing as this is the last game in the Shepard trilogy, part of me has a sneaky feeling that we might get to control the Normandy properly for the first time (of course discounting cruising the galaxy map in ME2).
On the subject of cutscenes considering what's at stake and who we're up against, i'm hoping for some fairly long and epic cutscenes during the game.

Wait so Ashley/Kaidan are Specters now? That's awesome.
Did I miss something? Last I checked, that was still squarely in the 'speculation' department. Either that or I somehow missed something huge.

Go to the ME wiki and check the pics they have there. There is one pic that talks about returing squad members here I'll just link to it masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Special:NewFilesJeffZero wrote...

The picture you are referring to has a great deal of speculation and at least one outright fallacy, Big Ben is NOT James Sanders. This is mentioned in the GI article and has been mentioned several times by Bioware. General rule of speculation, if it has one bit of speculation, then treat all of it as speculation.
As of yet the supposed Spectre status of Ash/Kaiden has not been confirmed by Bioware.

true, but that pic is a scan right? meaning Bioware gave them the info to put into the mag right? I'm not saying that's Bioware confirming it. I'm just saying that my speculation on that point is justified.JakeGamer1 wrote...
