So if you fancy an enemies weapon better you can switch w/ it laying on the ground. Weather you can keep it remains to be seen.AlbertoAquilani wrote...
Enemy Weapons can be PICKED UP. Soldiers can carry all kinds of weapons, and other classes understandably less so.
So what, can we keep the weapons? Is this some kind of loot or inventory system? I don't get it.

So basically if a character is dead another character will become available in ME3?

Wait we start from where we left of in ME2?!javierabegazo wrote...
Also, it's pretty incredible that we'll start ME3 with our powers from ME2, I hope that DLC abilities like stasis will carry over. I'm sure that there will be alot of tweaks to allow for actual progression in ME3 but I'm super excited

That's my favourite part too. That means level cap inreases to level60 (logically)
I also like point 16. Where is very high possibility of loosing to the Reapers (Reapahs xD)

Javier, I forgot to send you some more info:
12. Loyalty of species cannot be gained solely through quests.
13. Ladders in levels! And no more duck and roll motion!
14. There will be balance with the squadmates (I.e., if Garrus died, then the game won't cheat you of a character)
15. ME decisions, such as the Rachni Queen, will play a larger part in ME3 then ME2 (duh?!)
16. And most importantly, there is no concrete way to fight the Reapers. YOU decided which idea to take - but beware, there's red herrings and the plan to take back Earth will change as you go.

I don't know why there's a lot of arrogance and blind prejudice by RPG fans against "shooter elements".Synobal wrote...
I dunno the addition of more shooter elements seems sort of meh, to me.
Firstly, Mass Effect was never a cRpg, ever. It was always a 3rd person roleplaying shooter.
Having all aspects of their respective genres refined can only be a positive thing. It's not always black and gray. Don't think of Mass Effect as an RPG. Don't always classify things into genres. Mass Effect is an amazing video game. Deus Ex was an amazing video game.

Anyway, it's an astonishingly awesome list of features. I hope BW will take their time to make this game the best one of the trilogy and push that release date back if necessary.

Someone could explain to a non native english speaker what this ladder thing means? I only know the ladder that is used to climb to the roof, i don´t know what this has to do with videogames.
It's exactly that. Shepard can now probably climb ladders to get better views of the battlefield and such. I think it's good for snipers.

This means that Levels will have variance not only in lenth and width but height, only increasing the quality of variance and approach to battles

I imagine enemies will use the same weapons we do, with different attachments and such, and we can swap ours out if we choose, much like first person shooters such as CoD and Halo.
Seems pointless to me, so if I'm carrying a heavily-modded assault rifle, and I pick up someone elses assault rifle, that means I lose out on my heavily-modded one? Please explain Bioware.
