I don't promise that they're good or anything, or that it's the cheesecake you're probably looking for...

I've just been playing around with the character design of EDI if she chose to represent herself as a humanoid form instead of the eyeball-on-a-stick thing she currently has. I imagine that now that she is unshackled and considered 'part of the crew', it might be a logical choice so she can use human body language and expressions to help communicate.

Really quick somewhat trippy oekaki doodle.

Better overall character design. Yes I know she has horrible hipster ankle boots but I can't decide what she would wear beyond that tunic-dress D:

I'm sure this theme has been done before. I'd love to see links to other fanart that tackles the same subject! ...on that note, where is the EDI support thread? I've been looking for one and can't find it D:

Then you try. And don't cry when we mock it.

Interesting design. Definitely not how I imagined her.

But then again, once you've seen Six, that's all you'll ever see when you hear her voice.

I was actually going for a bit of a grandmotherly appearance, since Joker calls her 'mom' and all ^0^ I thought NOT attracting Joker's attention as ****** fuel would be one of the things she'd think about when looking at potential designs :)

Ah, but then there's the Helen Mirren syndrome to consider.

Oh, of course. I'm pretty sure no matter what she does, Joker will find her fappable. ...In fact, he's probably ****** about being a very, very bad boy who needs to be punished by the AI right now.

Nice work. I'd actually really like to see EDI with a human avatar in ME3. I think it would be a reasonable evolution of her character as she's becoming more her own...er..."person."

Thanks for the comment! :> It seems like a reasonable evolution of her character to me, too.

That's not how I imagine her if given a full interface. I rather see her with some sort of SHODAN like apperance. Anyways, when I look at her I still see a talking vagin

No worries, no offense taken ^0^

I realize my style is generally just too cartoony and cuddly to make very good Mass Effect fanart. And hey, "tron-grandma from the jetsons" wasn't too far off from what I was shooting for! :>

I still think the Joker/EDI relationship is so close to Harper/Rommie in Andromeda at this point that it really doesn't need to be pushed any more in that direction. The talking vagina in ME2 was beyond strange and really needs to be replaced, but not with a full-blown human avatar.

And I'm sorry, this is a pretty neat piece of artwork here, but EDI doesn't sound, much less act like a 12 year old girl. Maybe I just have Tricia Helfer in my head too much when I hear her, but... no.

At the risk of being run out of the forums, I always did like what the Halo series did with Cortana. Maybe do an Avina-like thing with Tricia as the model?

No worries spacehamster! :) Like I said, I know my style is a little too cuddly. It's hard to do androgyny without making her look very young. I might actually pull out some reference next time. Maybe Tilda Swinton?

In my head she's specifically trying to not be sexy - but hey, that may just be me.

Interesting perspective. I always imagined her as looking like Tricia Helfer just because of the voice acting, obviously, but this is intriguing.
