Both Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2 are up for awards at this years Spike TV Video Game Awards.

Dragon Age: Origins is nominated for PC Game of the Year and RPG of the Year.

Mass Effect 2 is nominated for Most Anticipated Game.

You can vote for the games you want to win, including our great BioWare titles, over at the Spike TV VGA 2009 website here.

It's quite ridiculous not being able to vote for Dragon Age as the overall GOTY. Also, why on earth is a game like Borderlands competing in the RPG category? And why can't I vote Bioware for developer of the year? All in all, those listings are horrible. But I certainly gave Dragon Age my support on both of the categories it was listed in! Although Mass Effect 2 had to bow before the mighty StarCraft 2.

I hate the VGAs. Its the most mainstream game that wins, not the best. Also, why the hell is DAO not nominated for best voice and cast? And it should be a GOTY nominee as well.

How is it odd to put Mass Effect 2 up for most anticipated? By its nature that means "it isn't out yet, but I can't wait I reeeeeally want it". Isn't that the point of the award?

It's really a shame we can't vote in the game of the year category but just so you know I'd totally do it if it was possible (heck even for game of decade after which I'd be in great dilemma whether to put BG2 first or not)

voted for DO:A. i think it should have got included in GOTY too.
i didn't vote in the most anticipated game category yet for ME2 as i'd like to know whether it's going to be loaded with securom. i could guess that it won't as DO:A doesn't but i'm not going anywhere near it until i know for sure that it hasn't.

I went and voted dragon age for both categories, I had to vote for borderlands for some stuff too I love that game. I'm surprised dragon age wasn't mentioned for best score or voice acting or something, ah well. Most anticipated is mass effect two, I just bought the first one on sale on steam, I need a pc version save file for the 2nd one . Don't use my xbox much anymore .
