Sorry, I misread it. I'm fine with it being most anticipated!Chris Priestly wrote...
How is it odd to put Mass Effect 2 up for most anticipated? By its nature that means "it isn't out yet, but I can't wait I reeeeeally want it". Isn't that the point of the award?

To be fair it's an awful category. It might as well ask which game is most hyped begore release (meaning who spent the most marketing dollars)?

It's quite ridiculous not being able to vote for Dragon Age as the overall GOTY. Also, why on earth is a game like Borderlands competing in the RPG category? And why can't I vote Bioware for developer of the year? All in all, those listings are horrible. But I certainly gave Dragon Age my support on both of the categories it was listed in!Although Mass Effect 2 had to bow before the mighty StarCraft 2.
Mass Effect bows to no one good ser!If it were up to me i would challenge you to a duel!The old fashioned take a pistol and walk 10 steps duel...grrr.

You are looking at it the wrong way,look at it as a gamer,you do your research about the game,watch the trailers and look at the screens,post on the forums about your hopes and dreams of the game,and for some of us lose some sleep waiting for it to get here.

There's not enough awards in the world to do BioWare justice..

I'm wondering why DA:O wasn't nominated for GOTY ... :-/
It deserves at least the nomination .. above a couple others that are listed

This game came out very short time ago so maybe it wasn't considered as much as some others that have been out for a longer time. We still should show our support in this millestone in gaming achievement and give out little community something to be proud of too.

@Yelina
Left 4 Dead 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 came out only a few days ago, almost half a month after Dragon Age's, and they are nominated for GOTY. While they are both desrvingly good games, it seems the nomination has nothing to do with release date.
