The story is awesome and all that... intelligent voice dialogs and such, but alot is still missing considering we are speaking of the year 2009... a game like Neverwinter Nights would quality much better for this and yet I believe it did that back in its time for sure, merely because of the 100s of opportunities in the game aside from the main campaigns themself.

I can't understand how the new CoD is a better candidate for the GOTY than Dragon Age. Not even talking about Left 4 Dead and other stuff. They're great games, but Dragon age is superior to them in terms of gameplay time. It's just my opinion of course. DA is one of the best games I've ever played.
Different type of games. Dragon Age is an rpg, focused on character building and all that rpg-ey stuff, and is going to be much longer. I mean, you can only fit so much plot into an FPS before you start to run out of ideas and interest. Completely different experience than CoD and Left 4 Dead and all those other games; all are exceptionally well designed and theoretically equal contenders for GOTY or whatever, it just comes down to personal preference in the end

My only concern for Game of the Year is just that a Year COD MW2 has barley been out a month

Best male voice: Hugh Jackman from Wolverine.
Best female voice: Megan Fox from Transformers.
Are you bloody kidding me? Don't people have to actually, like, buy these games for them to be considered as "good"? At least Mr. Jackman can actually act, megan Fox just read lines into a microphone instead of a camera.
Claudia Black should have won for best female, and Steve Valentine, Nolan North, or Mark Hamill should have won for male.
I was also unimpressed with their failure to include DA:O for best score.

I voted, but the VGAs are complete BS anyway. I mean honestly, Jack Black winning for best voice? There was no choice for Steve Valentine, or I'd have voted for him. Since I couldn't, I believed out of the nominees, the best voice was most definitely Mark Hamill's performance as the Joker in Arkham Asylum. It was brilliant.

Yup. I totally agree. I mean, what the heck are the qualifications to be entered into the 'Best performance by a Human Male/Female' Category, anyway?

Anyway, I'm really happy DA won best PC game and RPG. 2 of the few logical choices in these mock-up awards.

Sadly she didn't just make the listAnd it is a outright sham that one of Claudia Black's roles wasn't in
best female performance, seriously MEGAN FOX made the list over
