Being new to the game, I created a couple characters, but the one that grabbed my eye was the dwarf as he has two background options, noble, and commoner (not sure names are correect but you get the idea) In the selection, the commoner wields two swords, so I got to wondering if the background on a dwarven warrior had an impact on the character? Does the commoner start dual wielding and the noble sword and board or is there other differences the background has on a character? Looked through the manual and tried to find something about this here on the forums, but I either missed it or couldnt find it... Thanks in advance for any help anyone may have on this...

Yes, every background has a different origin story to play thru. I recommend playing thru all six eventually to get the full DA:O experience.

Ahhh ok, had planned to check out all of them, just wanted to make sure the background did or did not have an impact on the style of play for that specific character.
