What the f***? The "did anyone notice" thread? *SPOILERS*

yah I noticed it too. Yah it's just another thing to add to the ever-growing-list of amateurish things they pulled in this game in order to cash in on Origins as fast as possible.

Also - apparantly all Qunari are male. And identical down to the last atom. Never really even thought about that before...
I guess Bioware figured they could get away with 1 model since the Qunari are enemies most of the time...
There were female Qunari in the concept art, they just choose not to put them in this game. Hopefully they'll be in the next game, along with female dwarves *points to sig*
As far as the males go, I guess I could say that maybe their culture demands that they all dress the same and wear the same armor/paintings based on their rank, but that's more likely just a bit of laziness on Bioware's part.

Yeah i think they can get away with that one story wise. The boat that landed there was a boat full of soldiers. Based on the fact the tal vashoth have no markings or armor its safe to say that they are symbols of their role and given they are all the same role they all look the same. In the same vein if we ever for some reason find ourselves shuffled off to par vollen we'd see every shopkeeper look similar, or every priest/politician the same as each other to

He is from vault and his name is Gary. Yeah that was pretty poor. If I was working for team in charge of cinematics and cut scenes, I would have requested different models from designers.
You should mod your thread name though and remove profanity and put spoiler warning.
LOL, here, fixed:

Advice : mod your thread name - add "possible spoilers" at the end
But the OP didn't need to do that since the forum is called "Dragon Age II Official Campaign Quests and Story (SPOILERS)".

I'm really asking these questions, I don't claim to know the ins and outs of the EA/Bioware business relationship. But what I do know is that Bioware does NOT seem to be the same since acquired by EA.

This is a pretty trivial complaint.
Not really, it's another example of the game's lacklustre, rushed design.

Is it? Copy/Paste is everywhere in this game, and this thread just continues making that point and that we expect more from Bioware. Honestly, they didn't really even populate the room very heavily but couldn't spend an hour with a face randomizer and putting different clothing on the people assembled?
Maybe in a Sega Genesis RPG in 1991 it would have been okay...not today.

Teagan is the only unique face in the crowd during that first cutscene after you depart Flemeth's hut. There are like 7 or 8 recycled nobles in the room being addressed by Loghain.
In the Landsmeet where you choose who will rule Ferelden, not only do you get several nobles recycled BUT you also can see Vaughan there (even if he's dead or still stuck in Howe's dungeon). He's standing right behind Loghain at the end of your duel.

This is done everywhere in the game to a sad degree. At least they covered up the faces of most enemies to give us an illusion that they might be different models of characters.
It's especially sad in the Qunari Compound... They All Look Alike. Based on their job. o.O

I noticed this scene. *Spoilers* When you kill the Arishok and Meredith announces you as champion the scene pans out to all the nobles applauding for you. Notice how they use the same 3 or 4 face models for like the 20 something nobles in that scene
...Lazy Bioware is lazy.
But.. laidlaw said the recycling was done artistically, and no one would care!
I can imagine that he thought to himself: "Dammit! We were sure they wouldn't notice!!"

Doesn't look as weird as the Arishok-Throne Room scene though.
