I just bought this game, is it?

I never had conversations cut off
The off audio sync is perhaps only a fraction of a second off, and that's only for some scenes.
Overlord graphic problem is not important at all. Infact I didn't even notice it until I saw this forum.
Load times are a little long, bohoo. I've played games with FAR worse load times.
Essentially Bioware has kinda spoiled the people on here because these are problems present on almost every game out there. If you can handle the load times on Tekken 6 and GTA 4 then Mass Effect 2 should not be a problem. Do not let these people deter you from getting it, I almost did because of it but now I have no regrets getting it.

As someone who was in your position not long ago I must say I have no regrets getting this game. I played the game the first time when the "Early April Patch" came out. I believe that fixed NG+ (not sure) but it didn't affect me since I wasn't done with the game yet. However this new Genisis problem is kinda game-breaking to be honest. After they fix the Genesis problem however there are only really minor problems.

What is A FACT is that the game is both fantastic and a bad port. It has issues but the importance of them depends on the preferences of each of us. The importance of these issues is something subjective, not objective. If you prefer shooters, then these issues would be of minor importance to you. If on the other hand you play the game for the story and atmosphere (and therefore expect to be drawned to this unbelievable sci fi world), then issues like the audio sync/cuts, overlord textures and horizon missing shadows might distract you from the mass effect experience. Especially the audio is vital for the story experience. If you like shooting people, audio problems would mean almost nothing to you. I respect your opinion, but you must also respect us (those who demand fixes) and therefore stop prompting Bioware not to develop more patches. By saying that the remaining issues are of minor importance, you indirectly make it easier for Bioware to stop the support for ME2.

I don't know how bad the audio-synche is for you, but for me it is not bad at all (maybe fractions of a second) and it seems to go away as the scene continues. Maybe I just got lucky with my copy, or I have a short attention span.
And just to be specifice, conversations aren't the things being synched off for me, it's mainly dialouge during missions, relatively short scenes that are action-packed so the dialouge does not hold as much significance.

I would suggest that you buy it on a different platform if you have that option. The PS3 version is a crap port, frustrating to play and the problems it has will probably never be fixed.
Seriously??????? biaser! HEY! THIS USER DISCRIMINATES AGAINST THE PS3 USERS!

you mentioned in the Overlord DLC, but they are all over the game anyway. Hell, a good chunk of my deaths comes from Shep getting stuck in the frakkin' ceiling or something. Yes, ceiling. Way up in the air. That happens too, occasionally.
The "flying Shepard" issue is a known problem and very common if using the vanguard class. The collission detection issues in general are many in this game (as project overlord has also collission detection issues with the hammerhead). The good thing is that EA unounced that the release date of mass effect 3 is delayed for the first quarter of 2012. This means that Bioware now has more time for both fixing the ME2 ps3 version issues (via careful and elaborate patches) and polishing the ME3 ps3 version (in order for these issues not to reappear). I hope that Bioware will exploit this opportunity and eventualy fix the problems.

If your berating single-handedly causes ME3 to be glitch-free, then you sir have earned my repect
Not that it means much though.

I second that, PC was the best for me
