The guy called "Bad Poet" has a little role in one of Isabelas conversations(questioning beliefs?).

He's standing around (in act 2 or 3, not sure) near the bar at the Hanged Man and is wearing a hilarious pastel coloured noble outfit. You can click on him; he's got a repertoire of two, three comments (he has a crush on Isabela and is writing fanfic, sort of LOL).

And if I'm not completely hallucinating his VA is Simon Chadwick
I like best:"I can't think with you standing around!" (to Hawke).

I've just read through the list of VA's for DA games - I'm officially fangirling on all of them. How the dickens do they manage to do voices that sound so different!? Some of them surprised me - Loghain's VA did Mervis in Awakenings! I love Mervis "Ooooh Maker!"

I just replayed Nate's quest for my avatar .gif and I realised something. Its almost like Bioware were saying "We're really really really sorry we gave you a substitute archer in the DLC - here have the most epic of cameos ever." Every camera angle in that thing is set on 'hero' setting. Nate makes Hawke look like a minor character ;-) He's even the only character from Origins setting that looks fabulous (well him and Cullen a'course).

Ok, I've does his quest once, but I've never seen this zoom thing in your avatar, which is kind of mesmerizing, by the way. Does Carver or Bethany have to be a Grey Warden for that scene to happen?

And I agree with you: Nate's appearance is the epicest of the whole game. (No, that's not really a word, but yeah, I used it anyway. Nate's that awesome. )

I wonder why certain characters (Nate, and yes, Cullen ) translated over so well to DA2 , but others didn't. Poor, poor Alistair...

Noooo, none of my Grey Warden sibling playthroughs are from Awakening Wardens. And my Hawkes ended up with Circle Bethany or dead siblings on my Awakening imports. Argh. I have three or four Wardens who are twiddling their thumbs, ready for an Awakening playthrough, and one about to go to the Blackmarsh.

What's up with Nate's eyes being brown instead of gray? ({Pfff, just typed "grey" instead of "gray," and I"m not even English. Thanks, Bioware.) Is the correct color not in the character creator for DA2?

Edit: About Alistair's face-the reason why he looks fine as a Warden and strange as a king is because of the lighting. His actual model is fine. There's a thread around here somewhere about it-somebody swapped his head onto Anders's, put it in different lighting, and there's a world of difference.

 No idea on the eye colour - There's a mod that changes them to grey.  Goes nicely with the blue warden armour

And on a side note:
My Nate senses were tingling - in the Anders thread they joked a bit about Nate (in a swoony way) and his relationship towards his nephew. So, if his nephew pulled a kitties tail, Nate would make the ZOOM and say: "Drop the kitty!!!!"

Its a Cullen fic - poor Nate is still stuck mid-relationship crisis in his. Unfortunately DA2 really knocked my interest in writing Origins fic around. He'll cope poor pet, at least he's got a girl they're just still working things out.

In my universe, the fic is set just after Awakenings, so, by the time we meet him in DA2, yeah, theyr'e probably still working it out.

Nate: So the Warden-Commander let the Architect live...
Me: What? No, Mahariel didn't. She didn't even let him explain his plan. Because nobody screws with her Wardens.
Nate; We'd hoped blah blah blah talking darkspawn blah blah.
Me: No! Anders, you heard about this! I mean, you were busy throwing fireballs at Vigil's Keep, and weren't actually there, but correct him!
Anders: *is oblivious*
Me: *grumble grumble import bugs grumble stabbed him for touching my Wardens grumble eye color's wrong grumble*

 @LT Yay! Yes I had the same problem with the Architect - thankfully the patch fixed it up.   I never let that guy live - he's right dodgy imho.

Cool, thanks for sharing this Why haven't they sent Nate and Alistair to the Deep Roads instead of Stroud and some anonymous wardens? That would have been awesome
