@Rumpeline - oooh yeahhh. The taint obviously agrees with him. My Hawkes always want to carry him off somewhere 'safe'. Safe being a relative term....

Edit for ToP:

Your Hawke looks nice - where is the robe from she is wearing?

And am I the only one or do Nates lips look really... well...kissable....:kissing:

Probably your Hawke is thinking the same ;)

Ah, what a shame: I am a Playstation player, so I am afraid I can't use it :(

When I first met the guy in Awakenings I thought it was going to be a disaster.

But I was quite overjoyed at his ability to eloquently point out the massive chip on *the unspeakable's* shoulder.

Haha, yes! We like irony. But please don't remind me of the pretty brush.:sick:

He was winding her up - I refuse to admit any other interpretation to that banter.  Simply refuse.

^ Yes! He is a tease after all,hehe...
...And maybe he liked that she had a tiny little crush on him (would fit him :P), but other than that absolutely not! It simply mustn't be!

Yep yep... when I first heard about Nathaniel, my writer's brain went nuts.  I saw the potentional there for some seriously awesome story time.  I had to run out and write it.

But really, any warden whose life has been touched by Rendon makes for a great story by Nate.  The two have histories bound together by the biology of Rendon's cruelty.

Ooohh, you've written a Nate story, too! (I'm kind of a newbie on BSN). I don't write fanfiction - no talent, alas - I'm just really used to analysing fiction and admittedly Nate's story has potential hehe.

You know, I'm not usually "that girl"- I'm not jealous IRL and I certainly wouldn't be jealous of a fictional character. But Velanna awakens something dark and violent in my soul. Why is that?

It's Velanna! :wizard:
Seriously though, I completely agree with your post. And I don't know why; maybe it's because our Wardens get no chance to flirt with Nate and have to stand idly by while.. - No, there's nothing going on. NOTHING...<_<

Edit: haha, I just realized her name came up once today and we go "rrrrawwwr" ( I somehow added to the fuel :pinched:).

Ah well I content myself with not recruiting her ;-)

@Tasmen: I'm looking forward to it!

@Avilia: are we talking in euphemisms here? If yes, It was satisfying! and that's normally not my style...

^ I usually recruit her. I have some sort of disorder, I have to recruit everyone, no matter how much I dislike some of them; or maybe I'm a little sadist, idk.
But my Cousland girl felt the sudden urge to slap that ...woman. :innocent:

Pretty much my version of 'not recruiting' as well. I go mininalist in my games now, just the two boys and Sigrun. We're epic enough to get things done ;-)

Yep, Anders, Nathaniel and Sigrun.  I pick them up in that order and pretty much stick with them the entire game. Ordinarily I don't want another woman along, but I just adore Sigrun. I wish she would forego her calling long enough for another game.

Have the same problem in DA 2,  with Fenris, Anders and Varrick.  Gotta love the boys.

Yes! I'm don't use Anders in 2 much, did last run though. Taking him to Delilah and Nate is a must do even when he does nothing else.

"I wonder if he ever found a sense of humour?"

I need a hug Anders mod for Awakenings....

Okay, after reading Mary Kirby's posts about romances in the Varric thread, I'm going to have to change my sig.

As much as Anders irritates me in II, Merrill annoys me more and she can't heal.

Besides, men are much easier to look at.

.Same goes for Velanna in Awakenings.

If Kristoff had been alive--well, he might have worked out -- oh wait, he's married.Posted Image

Kristoff - a serious hottie that one.

I don't use Merrill much either - my group is usually Fenris, Varric, Hawke. The last spot gets rotated depending on my mood at the time. I may try to use Anders more - last run I played a mage and started getting attached to him again. He seems less abrasive if you friend him (er which I don't usually do). Varric and Fen are my only 'must haves' in 2.

Erm, sorry that's way off topic - I can't post a pic as I'm at work so will say something Natey:

There once was an archer named Nate
Who's aim and delivery was great
He came home from abroad
to see what was stored
in the Vigil's basements and crate(s).

Erg bad limerick is bad...

@Avilia: you have to friend Anders, it's almost unbearable otherwise (romance or not).

All hope is not lost - the writers came up with a lot of things in the past, right? Well, I have no "hopes" myself (they crushed my fainthearted optimism with DA2).

And now I picture Nate rummaging in some old junk... :P

I enjoy trolling him too much ;-)

My Hawke: "So, Cullen, of the two mages standing in front of you, one of them that isn't me, might be plotting something evil."
Anders: O.O !!

A noble named Nate did arrive
to the land where his family had thrive-d
he thought to himself
I'll use bow and stealth
and into those Wardens I'll dive
