I only was able to play through Awakenings once due to time constraints...  Never really paid much attention to Nathaniel, probably because I was just so smitten with Anders and my warden was a rogue at the time.  However, I was quite upset that since I didn't complete Awakenings before I started DA2 that Nate didn't show up in my game!  My brother got to see him and I didn't so I was pissed.

I've started to appreciate Nathaniel more as a character recently- and I partially blame this fic on the kink meme for my sudden attraction to the broody rogue.  Damn, the way the author writes his voice is hot!

Um, so...  Just thought I'd drop by and say hello!  I'll leave you with a few pics of my sims2!Nathaniel since I recently posted some pics of Sim!Anders in his thread...

Most cosplays I've seen for DA have been done by the ladies.  I have had people want me to crossplay as Nathaniel for this coming year's PAX Prime, but nah, I'm going to go as a lady scout instead.  Of course, if I did go as Nathaniel, I would stuff the stuffingest stuffed stuff ever.

But yes, I am sure there were be an obscene amount of pictures taken of the group when we are at PAX.  The plan is to have one of every DA2 Warden outfit there.  We have started gathering materials now to start making things.

I'm not a big fan of Nanders either but as I've found out with most kink meme fics regarding pairings- it really depends on how well the fic is written. I've enjoyed quite a few slash fics that I didn't think I'd be interested in just because they were so well-written. Even though the scenarios were unbelievable to me, the author managed to get their personalities down perfectly.

I'm glad you like sim!Nate. I'm quite proud of him. Wish I had more time to play my Dragon Age neighborhood- Nathaniel is in the process of wooing both Velanna AND Morrigan. The man seems to have a thing for mages with attitude.

I was hoping to be able to get him into my party so that both he Nate and Anders could meet up with Alister. I was a bit bummed it did not work out. He made a nice little debut though in the Deep Roads!

Not true.  I think he has a nice personality too.

Okay, that's a lie.  In fact it took me forever to warm up to him, mostly because my Cousland Wardens wanted him to be a little more greatful.  By the time Awakenings ended, he was my second favorite next to Justice.  Instead of continuing to be annoyed by his grumpy attitude...I've sort of embraced it now.  Anyways, he's the very picture of a 'loveable b*****d'.  But the smexy snuck up on me.  Nat is the dark horse of Bioware men.

Sebastian fans think of... ok, I don't know what do they think of.

About the cosplay: I guess you're right. But even if the guys wouldn' look like him, as long as they put effort in it, it would be awesome
