Do you think Nate could kill a bear with one arrow?
Sure, with an Arrow of Slaying. The bears in Dragon Age aren't all that tough.

As it turned out, my Orlesian was awesome. I came into it pretty blank slate (well, I like fantasy and I've liked all the bioware things, so why not, even though I know NOTHING about what's going on), and no regrets there.
Got to say, Nathaniel was the standout character for me. Now, part of that is because I accidentally taught him to summon bears. It made sense at the time. The other part is yes, because he's a taciturn, stoic man who doesn't need the PC to fix all his problems. And then there's the fact that he's rather handsome. He left me wondering about him and where he'll be going after Awakening (besides to Kirkwall) as a Warden and as a person. I also laughed at his dry humor... As well as his tendency to cover my screen in a grizzly bear.
Dinky little arcane warrior and a bear tanking for Sigrun, Anders, and Nate. I recommend it.
Here's to hoping for Dragon Age 3, I guess.

I've lost all hope tbh. But he's still a cool guy.

I got into Dragon Age pretty recently. I played origins and DA2, but I held off on Awakening because my poor Brosca had caught a case of the heroic sacrifices, and I wasn't sure if it'd work.

He will be just another cameo if the devs don't forget about him.

Yes, well, it was more like "Show, don't tell" in DA II - she had to go around and tell everyone; and why would she do that?Ravensword wrote...

Ha! I teased Aimo about drawing Nathaniel too "romance novel" (ie. that he looked like he belonged on the front of a romance novel) and she drew this. I know this thread is deader than disco, but I wanted to link to it.
