I remember seeing a mod on DA Nexus that replaced the companions with alternate appearances. Sebastian was magically transformed into Nathaniel!
I was kinda excited until I realized that he would still have the personality of a douche. Image IPB

Okay, I don't HATE Sebastian, but he is no Nate.

Seriously, that mod would be game-breaking. To hear "If it were me in there, would you still be WAFFLING?" coming out of Nate's sweet face would ensure that Anders would get shanked EVERY TIME. Yum...waffles...

I almost squealed like a fangirl upon realising that Nathaniel fights alongside Hawke during his DA2 cameo appearance. His scenes were awesome, and felt wonderfully nostalgic to see him again!

I sincerely hope that Nathaniel will return again in future Dragon Age games. He's one of my favourites.

I would love to see Nathaniel as a LI. He's more interesting to me than any of the male LIs DA has had so far.

I agree with both House and scamper. Nathaniel would be an excellent and interesting LI.

Any hypothetical relationship between a Cousland Warden and Nathaniel would be intriguing.

Agreed. It's a shame to see Nathaniel's thread virtually devoid of activity. I'd love to see him reprise his role as a companion in a future Dragon Age game, and it would be interesting to see if/how the Grey Wardens continue to work alongside the Architect in order to pacify the darkspawn.

I'm sure he'd be central to that hypothetical story arc, given that he's the one that will mention the situation to Hawke in DA2.
