Hi,
I've scouted the forums for an hour and found the same error, but it was fixed by clearing the cache.
in my case clearing the cash doesnt do anything.
Here's the problem: I just downloaded arrival for 360. I can start the game, watch the little intro sequence and logo's etc from the 'press start' screen. When i press start however, i get the cant read disc error. The discs are perfectly new (both discs).
Any ideas? I dunno if it has anything to do with the update, but i'm guessing so.
Also a side-note: i recently bought a bigger HD and i transfered all my stuff over to the big one using USB sticks.
Possibly it has something to do with this? Although no single file is corrupted ...
Please if anyone knows what to do, help a brother out!

Quite a few question come to my mind regarding your situation, some could be relevant though the symptons you mention don't seem typical of those problems.

The transfer shouldn't be a problem, not that I know of as I transferred dlcs before and they still work fine.

Are you certain the discs are fine? To eliminate the discs being an issue remove the HD and start the game up without it to see if it runs. If it starts normally (without problems) then it would seem to be something else.

(Worst case scenario I have seen mentioned is that it is an HD issue. Hopefully it isn't.)
