Im going through another run of me1, and I intended to stay away from a romance so I could openly pursue a romance in me2 right after. But I just found out that i''ve supposably already been romancing ashely this whole time?
       I just started ilos now and the sex scene happened but I kindly denied it... but she said that it will still happen after everything is over? I dont want that to happen... So I have a save on virmire which was the last story line planet I had to do, So my question is the romance with ashely over in the way that I denied her, or would I have to load virmire and kill her? Would that even end it? Im just trying to stay single so I can romance in me2 without any negatives when me3 comes.
 
P.S My apology if this has already been mentioned, I tried the search but any topic I went to said I wasnt allowed to post in.

I was just saying in another thread, this is exactly what happened to me! On my FIRST playthrough, I thought I denied Ashley, but come ME2 her ugly picture was in my cabin! The only thing left for me is to do is hope that the consequences in ME3 aren't very harsh or only affect her.

I think you should pull out and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to know for sure.

Yeah that's what im thinking too. Do you think that by killing her, the romance would be non-existant though? I'm really hoping I dont see her pic on my cabin!

Don't worry. She can't stalk you if she's dead. If I get the chance to shoot her on sight when I first see her in ME3, (as if that would happen) I'm taking it. If you don't want her attention, you can't let her live.

Aright, looks like I have to reload virmire now and go through the whole mission again. It'll all be worth it though. I don't want this shepard to have anything to do with her.

I didn't want to romance anybody in ME1 either...Liara was easy, just telling her you would rather stay friends...Yes, Ash is a different story, if you have turned Liara down, Ash is thrust upon you...but I finally worked it out...when Ash invites Shep to celebrate Armistace Day with her, at the end of a paragon conversation with her, she comments about an attraction, I had Shep play dumb..'I didn't know your interested in me'...something like that anyway....After that conversation, don't speak with her again, if you do, Shep can only reply with a variety of 'Yes's' to Ash...when I discovered that, I went back to the save before the 'yes's' conversation, did not speak with her again....and in ME2, first thing I did was check Sheps quarters...no pic of Ash or Liara...SUCCESS!!! :-)

I'm not entirely sure about this as so far all of my characters have romanced Liara (and I like the Liara Vs Ashley scene in the comm room) but fairly early into the game, Ashley will comment on there being so many aliens on board. Simply tell her that she's out of line and it should kill any romance with her (little late for you now I realize but, you might want to try it the next time)

I turned Liara down right at the last moment but my Shep still had her pick in ME2.

But yeah as mentioned tell her shes out of line about aliens and she will be a no go.

I posted in a seperate topic but since it's relevant, I'll post in here too. After returning to the Citadel and before heading to Ilos, Ash comes to comfort you after the Council lock the Normandy down. All you have to do is be a complete Renegade to her and she'll lose interest in you. This will ruin the relationship from then on.

Hopefully you'll have save files before leaving for the Citadel and then heading to Ilos.
