 Not sure if anyone ran into this. I just encountered this situation just a moment ago. I am currently on the Bait And Switch Quest which you meet Fenris. I am already ahead on the start of Act 2 on another save file, but before that I had already made one back up save file.

I was unable to complete the Bait and Switch quest because of the Smuggler's Cargo chest not opening. I approach and hit X on controller, but nothing happens. None of the indications stating it is open. Not even an ambush when walking outside. The box still stays open with the indicator on map and on main still showing as if never touched. I found that odd.

Anyone else ran into this problem? I tried reloading and even restarting PS3.
