No offense, ishmael, because I think this seems like an awesome mod for all you PC players...
But is anyone else getting a Super Smash Bros. vibe from the recolors on page 1?
Hmm... how do you mean? I don't want people thinking of Nintendo when they play my mod
Probably just that in SSB, you can change your toon's outfit color to differentiate him/her in case someone else is using the same toon. (or to show which team you're on)
Wouldn't have noticed it if Slugwood hadn't pointed it out though, and it's not like you'll have multiple Merrills running around, so it's nothing to worry about. (Nothing at all.)

Now, for me that's not a massive problem, but I can understand if people find it annoying.
Perhaps something to look into.

Don't know if you noticed, but registration is required to download the file.

That has nothing to do with me. You have to be a registered Nexus user to download any file over 2MB in size. If you're really that opposed to signing up at the Nexus, the mod is available at its BSN project page, which is also linked in the OP.

Anyway, new files are up/will be up within a few minutes.
So, if you downloaded the update within the past ten minutes, I'm super sorry, and download it again!

Considering how half of the mods out there strives to make the clothes on people disappear, i'd just ship it as a feature...ishmaeltheforsaken wrote...

- Helms clip through Aveline's face if they are too small
- Helms make Merrill look bald, with a very badly burnt skull
- Aveline's buyable armor upgrade in Act 2, the one you buy from the armor smith, is hugely overpriced. I believe it's listed as 96 gold.
- At the end of the "Justice" quest in Act 3, I recieved two Renegade Coats, but no Warcoat of the Spirit of Justice and Mercy.
They may be bugs, may not be. Just things I noticed while playing. (Only had this active for 1 PT though, so I only have info about 3 characters)
But the mod itself is amazing, Merrill looks great in yellow and chainmail.

Which helms? Do they clip through Hawke's face as well? If they clip through Hawke's face, then it's an issue with the models that's present in the vanilla game, and I doubt I'll feel like fixing it. If they only clip through Aveline's face, then it's an issue with her face morph, and I definitely won't feel like fixing it.

It's not burnt, it's shaved

I'll check that out when I get to Act II.

The Warcoat of the Spirit of Justice and Mercy is found during "Best Served Cold."
You shouldn't be receiving two Renegade's Coats, though. I'll look into that.

The one where I noticed it, is King's Bounty (vendor bought helm in Act 3). I can't check it on my Hawke, since it's a warrior helm, and my Hawke is a rogue.ishmaeltheforsaken wrote...

It mostly clips through Aveline's hair. I didn't notice any clipping on the Helm of Appreciation from TBE though

My mistake, seemed to remember you get an upgrade after that quest, like most of the other companion quests give you one.

I'll try and find that helm and see what happens. Helms usually replace hairs, so her hair shouldn't be a problem. In any case, this sounds like an issue with the game itself
And thanks for reporting!

Does that also mean I'll be able to equip Fenris with the Blood Armor without making him disappear? :happy:ishmaeltheforsaken wrote...

I had someone check that out for me (I don't have any appropriate saves), and she says that King's Bounty is a full helm, covering the whole face. You shouldn't be getting any clipping at all. It would be helpful if you could provide a screenshot, but I'm inclined to say that this is an issue on your end, with no relation to my mod.

If you're talking about the helm, then yes. If you're talking about the rest of the armor, then you can already equip him with it with my Heavy Armor Pack in the "Optional Files" section of my Nexus page [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/smile.png[/smilie]

And I suppose is not possible to hide a helmet (showing Fenris' head/hair) while still having it equipped (like Hawke can)?

I rechecked the issue, and it's not infact a bug. The color of the back end of the helm is exactly the same as Aveline's hair, so I mistook it for a clipping issue.
My mistake.

Added new file, "DFA - no helmets" by request; extract it and drop the folder in your Override directory same as anything else. Helmets will now be found in the "Other" section of the inventory and won't appear in the helmet slot of the paperdoll. You won't be able to unequip your helmet except by equipping one over top of it. But, helmets won't show up on your characters. Credit to dragonagefun regarding how it works.

Thanks for that! I'll probably wait for the DLC to resume my 3rd playthrough, but that's a nice addition to the mod.

Added optional file for Tallis from the Mark of the Assassin DLC. Install this file before initiating the DLC (you can have the DLC installed, but for everything to work properly, you need to install the DFA - Tallis file before clicking on the statue in your home).
To install, just put the .erf in packages\\core\\override\\Diversified Follower Armors with the rest of the files
Armor shown at level 20:

Just a quick possibly daft question. Probably problem on my end, something I did or some such.
But downloaded this and its No Helmets compenent which unless I am mistaken is supposed to make helmets invisible for the companions? As the "no helmets" option in the main menu only seems to work for Hawke?
When using DFA - No Helmets the helmets completely dissapear when I try to equip them. Seriously, like no idea where they have gone. Dont think the PC or NPCs are equipping them either because they dont appear to be getting the stat bonus from having complete outfits...
So proper confuzzled. Might need to put up with the companions having helms...
