 Using the Character Creator, select the import character option when starting a new game. Make sure a human character is selected then return to the previous menu. Select import character again and switch to the elf character you wish to import. They will have extended elf ears like the npcs, however this also morphs their face a bit for some reason. *shrugs* I've only tried this on the pc version and I suggest this only if for whatever reason using the toolset doesn't work for you.

Why? Why would you want to inflict ugly giant donkey/rabbit ears upon your elf? They look fine as they are.

I think this only works without any patches applied. Pre-patch, it's a known issue that imported characters look "distorted" (and you couldn't properly edit them because any change made to any slider would reset the character to the first preset). Since I applied the 1.01a patch imported characters don't distort anymore and this trick doesn't work.

Yeah I prolly should have mentioned that. Hopefully someone will patch this soon. At the very least I'd like to choose between the two styles.

And because the normal ears are clipped off by hair...and it just looks stupid..
