Okay, maybe this is a spoiler sorry for that, but i am curious, as i see the flaw

1) why we can't just leave the Archdemon die slowly from wound and so no one will have to die???

2) if Archdemon soul will claim Warden who kill him, why not all remaining Warden kill him at the same time and take the final blow? So Archdemon got confused?

3) Or let everyone in the party drink the blood and everyone take the final blow at the same time and so Archdemon cannot haunt anyone

4) Why can't the Warden use balista as final blow from afar and so will not get cursed to die??

I don't want anyone to die!!!

1. If the archdemon's essence doesn't go into a Warden and destroy them both, it'll immediately reincarnate in a darkspawn. So you'd just have to kill it again.

2. I don't think it would get confused. This would be like a lottery - somebody would draw the short straw and get killed. The archdemon might not be "trying" to kill them, but it's got to go somewhere.

3. The game never does explain why you can recruit Loghain but nobody else. Still, someone would have to die. It might just not be someone you care about.

4. Same problem as 1. The archdemon would reincarnate in a darkspawn and you'd have to kill it again.

Point 3: If all of the party members survived the joining, which would be highly unlikely. Your back at point 2 where the soul is going too jump into a random warden and kill that person..

Riordan says both the souls are destroyed, but everyone kind of treats it like *regular* death. Nobody seems worried about a Warden's souls being gone forever when they kill the Archdemon.

Maybe they're all too busy going "Argh, someone's going to die" to be concerned about their souls?
