I hope it proves unfounded. Time spent adding multiplayer is time they could have spent adding more single player content. Something that was already suffering somewhat under DA2's tighter development schedule.
This.
In a game that involves conversation, what makes them think that 3 people (or whatever) would want to sit around passively by allowing someone else to make the decisions. I have never seen THAT much co-operation in multiplayer games online, in my history LOL Everyone wants to be the boss.
I just can't see it working well AND being a quality single-player game
with the current style of story.
Just. No. Please gawd of all that is right and just, no. Concentrate on doing ONE thing really well. you don't have to be the be-all end all of everything, just one thing. RPG. Unless of course, that isn't what they want to be anymore...who knows.
I hope it is just a weird rumour. Or that they have 2-3 years to get it done moderately well.
