I have followed the instructions on toolset wiki to add custom voice clips to a copy of one of the existing soundset dialogue trees. This was a new file however so it doesn't overwrite existing soundsets or dialogue ID's.
Everything works fine up to the part of actually hearing the stuff in game.. and the .wav files are of proper format (PCM 24 khz 16 bit mono format) and I can hear everything perfectly in the .fsb file.
I'm guessing the problem is that there is suppose to be some kind of script added, but none of the original soundset dialogues contain any scripts themselves... or atleast none that I have noticed.
If anyone has input on this it would be greatly appreciated.
Oh and I'm not really a forum person... this is my first post here >.>

I didn't have to write any scripts to get my VO to work in game. I just wrote my dialogues, clicked on root, then Tools > Generate VO > Generate VO Local after I saved my recorded VO's in
..\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\AddIns\\test2\\module\\override\\toolsetexport\\

Hmm... doesn't seem to be working for me...
I originally had the wav files in:
dragon age\\\\packages\\\\core\\\\override\\\\toolsetexport\\\\
I placed them your way afterwards but it didn't work either. I assume that the name of the folder in the AddIns directory is supposed to be the same as the fsb file?
Just to clarify... but we are talking about soundsets right? As in what the player sais in combat and the like...

I have a video tutorial on how to add your VO recordings in game. Link on my signature.

Ahh, I've skimmed through your tutorial and I think I understand what the previous poster was talking about.
Let me describe what I'm trying to do again though...
I am attempting to make a custom voice set for the *player*, what I mean by that is the soundset selection you can choose from when you create a new character. This is closer to modifying a core game resource then creating a dialogue tree for a mod.
The file I made works, I can hear the sound just fine and all that. The problem is that when I use it in the game, the player refuses to speak. My guess is that there is something other then the .fsb and the .fev files that triggers your characters response to the commands your giving.
