Oh, the sig will totes get updated.  As for Liara, Ashley, and Kaidan, I felt it wasn't fair for them to be excluded.  I'm happy to get everybody back, not just Garrus.

 Well, read GameInformer.
Casey Hudson pretty much confirms that all squadmates are returning, some as permanent squaddies, others as 'conventional' aka temp squaddies.

I think everyone will be coming back to some degree. Well, all except maybe Zaeed and Kasumi. But, I guarantee, that BioWare is not going to forget about everyone else.

I read whole thing and we don't know anything more about other squadmates, except that all of them will appear.

I would imagine that we will either find or be told that they will return. They are both extremly popular LI's and Miranda had a very large survival rate.

I would like as permanent squadmates:

Shiala
Samara
Grunt

And I want Liara as a major character, possibly doing the SB thing and sending me on missions. I would also like to, ahem, be able to invite her up to my cabin. For consultations.

One of the devs mentioned in one of the Tali threads that Tali would reappear as well. After all, I think she's the most beloved character.

I'm betting on all of the LI's coming in as permanant, and Grunt has no reason to leave. I'd put my money on the list being something like this --

Very Likely Permanent:
Garrus, Thane, Jacob, Kaiden/Ashley, Liara, Miranda, Jack, Tali, Grunt, Sanders

Up in the Air/One mission:
Mordin, Legion

Not likely at all:
Wrex, Samara, Zaeed, Kasumi

I have to remind, that views on this forum and in general are different sometime. For example, Miranda is the most popular ME2 LI judging by in-game statistics.

I was asking if you thought it was going to happen.  I know there's nothing as of yet.

Remember how everybody found out that Garrus was Archangel before ME2 hit the shelves even though BW was super tight-lipped about it?  Something like that.

I do hope we get a roster of all returning squaddies before ME3 comes out. I think the anticipation would kill me if it didn't.

And if I die before ME3 comes out, you can bet I'll be coming back to haunt Bioware's ass.
