I had a question raised to me. The GI article (or was it somewhere else) said Shepard's trial takes place a few months after the Arrival DLC...but...didn't they say they bought themselves like 2 years worth of time by destroying that relay?

How are the Reapers invading that soon?....  >__>

There was no specific timeframe given. Kenson said "months or years." It could easily be either, depending on exactly how fast Reapers can travel. Simply saying "they travel faster than light!" doesn't do much, as that still leaves the question of "how much faster than light?"

As a side note, if it's merely "months," we may still see a living-and-breathing Thane Krios in ME3, after all.

Kenson says (paraphrased): Once the Alpha Relay is destroyed, it will take months, possibly years for the Reapers to reach the next one.

Besides, they said nothing about the number of months.  Could be nearly a year or even a little over.

Jesus, you people.

Kenson was indoctrinated the whole time. How credible was anything she told you?

So this means what, exactly? That we have even less reason to believe whatever number of "years" (lol) the OP imagines her to have said it'd take for the Reapers to arrive?

Saying that to Zulu is an equivalent of banging your head against a wall. Useless, and it hurts.

You know, they might as well take the "no spoilers" tag off of this forum. It's gotten ridiculous.

So just out of curiosity, OP, is there any particular reason you didn't post this thing in the appropriate "campaigns" thread?

Right. Because instead of months or years, like she said, it could actually be weeks.

Plus, y'know... She was under Reaper influence. Could have been Harby just saying that to f*ck with shepard's head.

*Five days after the kaboom*

Harby: LUCY, WE'RE HOO-OOME!
Shepard: What the f*ck, Harby! You're early!
Harby: Yeah, about that...

Also depending on the verdict of the trial Shepard could be in an alliance or batarian prison for many months possibly years. So no I dare say the me3 storyline will be flawless.

I just gotta do this.

TIM has been indoctrinated the whole time. How credible is anything he's told you?

Yeah..I went there.

I believe plothole is defined as "I didn't entirely understand it, believe it, or want it." On these forums, anyway.

WRONG!

SHEPARD is the only one in the entire series who's ever been indoctrinated!

In fact, the entire game takes place in his head, and he's actually a mental patient at Present-Day Cook Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

Mind = Blown.

Wanna pick it apart even more? Arrival can be played after Horizon, before the suicide mission!

I can't help but laugh at the idea that the Reapers are traveling that much space in that short amount of time. Yeah yeah, "video game fiction" and all, but we'd literally be talking centuries or millenia.

Actually, Shepard is now indoctrinated. That's why TIM wants to take him out.

Well the GI article states that the Reapers invade during the trial, so I doubt that a verdict was reached.

2 years? I'm positive that she said "unknown.... could be months or years". I just see it as months because no one actually knows Reaper's speed.
