So, I downloaded the free copy of ME2 with the DA2 offer and I was just wondering, I bought all the DLC for the Xbox version, which I assume can be verified via my GamerTag. Do I have to purchase it all again for my shiney new PC copy of the game? I don't think I have to mention how incredibly lame that would be.

Yes, you will have to repurchase all non-promotional DLC.

i.e. Talk of illicit, illegal or morally wrong methods of obtaining DLC (And other products) are forbidden on this site.

So...how the hell DO you buy and use the DLC for Mass Effect 2?
Bah, I had to google it. Damned if I could find it through any official websites links. Maybe I'm just blind...

Does the free promo copy not include the free DLC from the Cerebus nwetwork? I activated the Cerebus network, but I don't have the Normandy memorial mission or the Zaeed mission.

You have to download and install the content; It's not in the game as standard. I believe the consoles would automatically download and install the content when purchased (Which also went for Dragon Age on the PC), but the PC version requires a more manual approach.gentlegiant wrote...

All the DLC that you're entitled to can be found on this page (Both promotional and paid-for), and they download as .exe files, so you simply have to run them to install the content. It auto-detects the directory the game is in, so whether your copy is retail, Steam, Impulse, GamersGate or whatever, the installer will (In most cases; It has been known to sometimes not detect the game) automatically locate and use the correct directory.

I have one of the cases where it will not detect the the game. I tried to uninstall the game but that didn't work and if i run the game and try and install it it says i can install the game because associated files are running. The it says i have to install the game after turning it off. Is there a way to make it detect the game?

You cannot register it on this website. If you visit this topic, you will find all the information you need. Pinnacle Station (The second DLC for ME1) is still available on the EA store, at least the last time I checked it was.kazarad wrote...
