Otherwise, I do not quite understand this fear about armor.

If you think a little, Kaidan has an armor, but Ashley would not wear ? Do you really believe this possible? Do you think it's really credible ?

But in all seriousness (im srs) just be glad they redesigned her.. hair... for ME3. I mean, Kaiden looks like Matt LeBlanc for some odd reason but hey, it's all cool. Kudos to BioWare for revamping Ash/Kaid as they did with Liara.

Could just be 'default' armor until you swap it out for something that offers more protection.

They simply avoid giving the same thing in the magazine. Ashey in armor, and Kaidan the same. We asked each time to see them apart.

They showed Ashley in civilian clothes, butshe will probably also her armor. They showed Kaidan in armor in this scan, but he will probably have also his clothes.

I think this type of speculation can be misleading. We donť know, if she is going to fight in this suit. It is same example as if BW showed picture of Kelly Chambers in her stripper suit before ME2 and everyone thought it is her duty dress:happy:

I really don't think it's civilian clothes because I don't think that they will make 2 skins just for the VS. I could be wrong and it would be cool if the VS and all companions had casual clothes that they wear on the Normandy but I really doubt it.

Very much possible. Quite some people have been complaining about squadmates wearing incongruous outfits on the battlefield in ME2.

I refuse to believe I am the only one who read the thread title as "Ashley's bum" multiple times before realizing what this was about.

^ I got excited when I saw the thread title. Then I realised I had misread it.

The bun formed part of her character, as did the curvy pink armour, so yes, I'm sad to see that go. But honestly, I'm just happy to see my favourite character back in ME3, and I don't mind the long hair anyway.

I just hope they don't sex her up too much, because that just wouldn't be Ash. She's a soldier, not a pinup in a tinfoil dress.

Muuuch better! The bun was good and soldier like, but made her look like a strict, old fashioned teacher. Hair down is muuuuch better! But I really hope that catsuit mania of ME2 does not come back in ME3. I liked equiping my squad mates with the style I wanted. OTOH, I fear Bioware made too much money with those alternate appearance packs... -.-

The same thing could have been said (and probably was) of any other character in ME2. "I'm sure they'll wear armor in battle!" or "They'll have helmets on in space, it wouldn't make sense otherwise!" 

And we saw how that turned out.
